1. Safety Please note the following safety instructions when operating your L- Tec Outdoorlift. In the event of inappropriate behavior or misuse, we cannot exclude the possibility of personal injury or material damage to the L-Tec Outdoorlift, to the surrounding property or to goods carried inside the lift. Improper use of the L-Tec Outdoorlift is not permitted. Any deviating behavior or use of the L-Tec Outdoorlift without the express approval of the manufacturer L-TEC-Swiss AG shall absolve it of any liability for compensation or warranty services in the event of loss or damage.! This symbol is used to draw attention to safety-relevant aspects of operating the L-Tec Outdoorlift. Please pay particular attention to these sections.! Intended use of the L-Tec Outdoorlift The L-Tec Outdoorlift is designed primarily for the transportation of authorized persons who have received suitable instruction in outdoor areas. The number of persons carried at any one time must not exceed the number of persons specified on the type plate. The maximum carrying capacity of 450 kg must not be exceeded.! Transporting goods This is only permissible provided that the all the following regulations are adhered to: - Goods may only be carried in the interest and with the agreement of the responsible owner or operator of the lift. - The carrying capacity of 450 kg must not be exceeded at any time, the goods must be secured to prevent them falling, moving or falling off the platform, and at no point may they extend beyond the area of the platform.! Key If you have ordered a system equipped with locks, remove the key from the lift or from the calling station each time you use the lift. Store it in a safe place out of reach of unauthorized persons. Note that the other keys for the system (such as those for access doors, switch cabinet, main switch) should be stored in a safe place that can also be accessed at all times. 6

1. Safety! Risk of injury If you sit down, do not stand up again for the rest of the ride. Please remain seated until the lift has reached the halting station. The route along which the cabin travels is monitored by sensors fitted to the front and rear of the cabin. Any contact with the sensors will cause the lift to stop immediately. Nevertheless, please ensure that no persons or objects are in the travel area while the lift is moving. Particular attention is required on curved sections to ensure that any obstacles are spotted in good time.! Emergency stop switch Fig. 1 Every L-Tec Outdoorlift is equipped with an emergency stop switch. If you need to stop the lift in case of an emergency, press the red emergency stop button on the cabin control panel.! Maintenance To keep your system in perfect operating condition, we recommend that you have preventative maintenance carried out on a regular basis by the manufacturer or the authorized service agent. We strongly advise against having the system maintained by persons who have not received special training for this purpose. Please inform your service agent of any unusual event such as malfunctions, unusual noises or vibrations. Never use the L-Tec Outdoorlift if it is damaged. 7
