Vehicle Preparation: CAUTION Always confirm the ignition is in the "OFF" position before changing the switch condition. 1) Apply parking brake 2) Confirm vehicle is not in the default shipping state or "Inventory position" as shown below. Failure to confirm vehicle has been removed from this state will result in loss of normal vehicle operation. 3) Locate Extended Storage Switch in cabin fuse block. Confirm it is in the "Customer" position. See below for reference. a) To remove transit mode (Fuse Block): 1. Remove fuse cover lid. 2. Push down shorting pin. 3. Ign On 2 times without starting the vehicle. To remove transit mode (BCM): 1. Confirm ignition switch is in "OFF" position. 2. Simultaneously push the signal and wiper switch fully down for two (2) seconds. NOTE: While in BCM Transit Mode, turn signal indicators will remain illuminated for one minute. Condition Switch Position Note Vehicle is delivered to the dealer Inventory Condition Technician performs PDI Customer Delivery Return to Inventory position after PDI. Customer test drives the vehicle Customer Delivery Return to Inventory position after test drive. Vehicle is being stored at the dealer Inventory Condition Vehicle is delivered to customer Customer Delivery 4) Turn ignition switch to "ON" position 5) Record the customer radio presets and other presets as required. Preset 1 2 3 4 5 6 c) To return to transit mode for storage: 1. Ign Off. 2. Remove fuse cover lid. 3. Pull up shorting pin. 4. Assemble fuse cover lid. 5. Ign On 2 times without turn the vehicle on. 6. Confirm transit mode condition on meter NOTE: Typical vehicle condition shown above. Switch is easily identifiable by the permanent, push-pull fuse holder. Actual position on the fuse block may vary, vehicle to vehicle. NOTE: The Extended Storage Switch is only an aid to improve battery life during vehicle storage at the dealer. If the Extended Storage Switch fuse ever needs service after vehicle delivery, discard the Extended Storage Switch and install the correct fuse in its place. 6) Put shift lever in "P" position for A/T and CVT or "1st" for M/T 7) Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position 8) Use seat and floor protection. 2 of 15 T98Q7 5JA0AII REV. 11/1/2017

8. INSTALLATION OVERVIEW: 1.) SYSTEM USB Module Fig. 1 2.) VEHICLE Fig. 2 USB Module CAUTION Take care not to scratch or damage any component during the removal or re-installation process. Always remove vehicle parts in the sequence they are shown, improper procedure can damage parts. Store removed parts in a safe and protected manner. Locate Wireless Charging module as shown in instructions. Failure to do so may impact the operation of ikey system, and prevent vehicle from starting. 3 of 15 T98Q7 5JA0AII REV. 11/1/2017

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Fig. 3 1) Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Disconnect negative battery terminal. a) Lower both driver and passenger windows to prevent damage. Disconnect negative battery terminal using a 10 mm socket. NOTE: If installing on a diesel powered vehicle, disconnect BOTH batteries Fig. 4 2) Secure Harness Label a) To prevent squeak and rattle, wrap the label on the posi-tap harness around the harness, and cover with tape. clips Fig. 5 3) Removal of Center Console Rear Finisher. a) Using trim tool, remove rear finisher from center console. Start at bottom of finisher. Use caution as clips at top of finisher (indicated with bold arrows) release upward. Clip locations are indicated by arrows. clips clips Fig. 6 4) Disconnect harnesses and set trim aside. Note: Be careful not to damage connectors when removing. 4 of 15 T98Q7 5JA0AII REV. 11/1/2017

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Fig. 8 6) Removal of footwell trim panel. a) Remove one push pin fastener from outer footwell trim panel (RH). Use trim stick to carefully pry out push pin and pull panel toward center of vehicle and rearward. Remove front trim panel. = Clip Locations Fig. 9 7) Remove front Trim. a) Using trim removal tool, remove heated seat trim. Fig. 10 Fig. 2 8) Remove Front Trim. a) Disconnect connectors from heated seat swiches and set trim aside. FRONT REAR Fig. 11 9) Feed harness to rear of center console. a) Feed fish tape through rear of center console and up towards heated seat trim opening. Attach connector side of Posi-Tap Harness to fish tape and pull towards rear. Be careful not to pull entire harness, as other end will be fed towards front of vehicle. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Zip Tie Fig. 12 USB Posi- Tap 10) Secure the Posi-Tap Harness. a) After feeding connector end of posi-tap harness towards back, feed posi-tap end down through passenger side HVAC grille. Zip tie posi-tap harness to existing harness as shown. Heated Seat Harnesses Fig. 13 11) Continue routing the Posi-Tap Harness a Pull back carpet and route harness behind metal bracket and into passanger footwell. Critical: Harness Needes to be routed under the vent. Foam Tape Fig. 14 Towards Service Connector 12) Route to Accessory Service Connector. a) Pull back carpet and route harness along contour of the floor, towards accessory service connector. Cut one piece of foam tape in half, and use those smaller pieces to secure harness down to the floor. Foam Tape Fig. 15 13) Locating accessory service connector. a) Locate passenger side accessory service connector plug behind glovebox on right side of footwell. See Fig. 15. NOTE: If there is already an accessory service connector in passenger side, read step 13. If not, proceed to step 14. If there is not an accessory service connector in passenger side, remove dummy plug in connector. 7 of 15 T98Q7 5JA0AII REV. 11/1/2017

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Fig. 16 14) Locating accessory service connector. a) If there is already an accessory service connector in passenger side, remove it before continuing. Remove any foam tape present before adding any posi-taps. See Fig. 16. 15) Accessory Connector Reference. a) Accessory Service connector pinout is shown on Mechanization page for reference. NOTE: For direction on how to posi-tap, refer to pages 8 through 10. For additional circuit information, refer to mech drawing at end of installation instructions. Fig. 17 16) Posi-tap a) Tap Black accessory harness wire to Black accessory service connector pigtail wire. Tap Orange accessory harness wire to Orange accessory service connector pigtail wire. Gnd ACC 17) Connect accessory service connector pigtial to vehicle accessory service connector. Zip Ties Fig. 18 18) Secure Service Connector. a) Wrap connector in foam tape to prevent rattle, as shown. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: POSI-TAP Fig. 19 19) Posi-tapping an Accessory service wire (Fig. 19) a) Identify and confirm correct wire in the Accessory Service Connector to be tapped. Remove cap (slot side) from tap body. c) Slide cap around single accessory wire. d) Position cap 6.35mm(0.25in) away from the heat shrink end of Accessory Service Connector (measurement for first posi-tap installed on the circuit). e) Tighten the tap TIGHT with finger pressure. f) Tighten by another quarter turn. Fig. 20 20) Inspecting the tap for correct installation (Fig. 20). a) Pull on the wire lightly to ensure connection. Inspect the tap to ensure correct installation. c) Test the signal to ensure that it is working properly. Fig. 21 21) Tap accessory wire (Fig. 21). a) Remove tap (non-pierce) side from tap. Remove the protective stub from the wire. c) Insert wire through the non-pierce side opening. d) Spread the individual strands into fan shape. e) Insert wire into the tap body and ensure that it is all the way in. f) Tighten the tap TIGHT with finger pressure. g) Tighten by another quarter turn. Fig. 22 22) Confirm the tapped accessory wire. a) Pull on the wire lightly to ensure connection. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: POSI-TAP Fig. 23 23) Forming strain relief loop - required (Fig. 23). a) Gently bend end of pierced wire (where it exits cap) down towards body of posi-tap. On tapped side wire; starting at point b1), measure 50mm to point b3). Make first bend of loop b2), half measured distance - 25mm, and up toward body of posi-tap, make second bend of loop b3). c) Secure pierced wire on heat shrink side and tapped wire to body of tap with electrical tape ( 2 revolutions). Fig. 24 24) Securing multiple accessory taps (Fig. 24). a) Tapped accessories (wires already secured to tap bodies)are stacked in a stagger on top of each other as shown in Fig a). Secure tapped wires on connector side of positaps to each other with electrical tape ( 2 revolutions)at a distance of 6.35mm as shown in Fig. c) Pierced wires of posi-taps are secured to each other with electrical tape ( 2 revolutions)at a distance of 6.35mm(0.25in) as shown in Fig c). Fig. 25 25) Securing multiple accessory taps (Fig. 25). a) Make sure the accessory taps have been wrapped appropriately as detailed previously and as shown. Fig. 26 26) Securing multiple accessory taps. a) Starting at heat shrink; firmly wrap posi-tap bundle with electircal tape or non-adhesive wire harness tape, making sure to overlap previous revolution. Note: If using non adhesive tape secure at the of wrap with electrical tape 2 revolutions. 10 of 15 T98Q7 5JA0AII REV. 11/1/2017

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: POSI-TAP Fig. 27 27) Securing multiple accessory taps a) Make sure the finished wrap looks similar to Fig. 27. Fig. 28 28) Foam wrap for posi-tap bundle (foam strips) a) Wrap the posi-tap bundle with foam tape, following a pattern similar to the electrical tape, making the best use of foam strips provided. Fig. 29 29) Finished foam wrap for bundle (strips-top view) a) Make sure the finished wrap looks similar to Fig. 29. Fig. 30 30) Finished foam wrap for bundle (strips-side view) a) Make sure the finished wrap looks similar to what is shown in Fig. 30. 11 of 15 T98Q7 5JA0AII REV. 11/1/2017

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE (Continued): Fig. 31 31) Drill holes in the RR finisher. a) Cut template in Installation instructions. Align template to curve of vent and attach to RR finisher using tape. c) Align metal cutting template on top of paper template and secure down using tape. d) Using 1/8" bit, Drill hole in RR finisher. Fig. 32 32) Cutting hole in RR Finisher a) Cut hole using dremel tool. Note: Carefully cut hole for USB module to avoid damaging trim. Try not to cut hole any bigger then the template,for proper fit and finish of the USB module. After cutting hole, smooth out edges using hand file. Fig. 33 33) Install USB Module. a) Insert USB module in cutout, keeping battery logo on bottom. Push module in until click is heard to ensure proper fit. c) Plug Posi-Tap Harness into the USB Module. Fig. 34 34) Secure Harness a) Zip tie harness down to wire feeding into existing connector on side of passenger side of center console trim. Zip tie posi-tap harness to existing harnesses going to Rear Trim (If Any - 120V, Heated Seat Harnesses). Zip Ties 12 of 15 T98Q7 5JA0AII REV. 11/1/2017

34) ACCESSORY FUNCTION CHECK: Connect module to Posi-Tap Harness. Connect the negative battery terminal and tighten the nut to 5.4 N-m. Put vehicle ignition in ACC position. Halo around the USB ports will illuminate. Connect any Device (Mobile, Tablet, Ipad etc.) with USB charging port using USB cable, to confirm its charging. Turn off vehicle. 36) Re-assembly process: Connect all the harnesses back in AT finisher. Reinstall ATM finisher and Bolts. Reinstall center console rear finisher. Reinstall passenger side kick plate, foot well panel, and the panel covering the accessory service connector 13 of 15 T98Q7 5JA0AII REV. 11/1/2017

H61L TITAN REAR SEAT USB CHARGE PORT PAPER TEMPLATE 1) Align edges of the template to the edges of the center trim panel above the air vents, as seen in the installation instructions. Line up the vertical line in the middle of the template with the vent open/close wheel. 2) When printing, be sure to set scale to "NONE" or "ACTUAL SIZE" 3) All measurements are in Millimeters.
