The lightweight and durable Balance Bar is manufactured from a high grade alloy steel treated with a low friction coating for extra smoothness of adjustment. It incorporates rubber boots, a spherical bearing for improved efficiency and an outer tube to ease installation. A Balance Bar Assembly is available without the rubber boots Part Number:- CP5500-4 Conventional Types - Heavy Duty - CP5507 CP5507-2 Heavy Duty Balance Bar Assembly Similar in concept to CP5500-9 but with a heavy duty 12mm balance bar for applications where a high pedal ratio and/or high pedal loads are used. Features include low friction coatings, spherical bearing and rubber boots to prevent dirt ingress. NB Suitable for use with 5/16" UNF master cylinder pushrods. Trunnion Types - Floor Mount - High Efficiency Types - CP5520-3 & -4 These small and compact balance bars use needle roller bearings, to provide low hysteresis and high efficiency. These versions are designed to fit at the fixed end of master cylinders fitted with integral trunnions such as CP6465 (Pull type), CP5854 and CP7854. Trunnion Types - Conventional Mount - High Efficiency Types - CP5520-2 & -13 Trunnion Balance Bar CP5520-13 trunnion balance bar assembly is new concept in balance bars where the central pivot is a trunnion rather than a spherical bearing. This has the advantage of preventing balance bar movement in the vertical plane, thus removing the largest cause of unwanted balance variation. The centre trunnion and clevises employ needle roller bearings to reduce friction and hysteresis to a minimum improving modulation. Formula 3 - Upgrade Kit - CP5528-1 This balance bar offers the user a lightweight high efficiency trunnion type balance bar installation giving better modulation than those currently available. CP5528-1 utilises our high efficiency push type Master Cylinders CP5854 / CP7854 types, which have a built in trunnion mounted needle roller bearing for direct mounting to balance bar. The kit does not require a new brake pedal, the standard Dallara pedal is utilized.
Balance Bar Cable Adjuster - Cable Type CP2905-8 & - 18 An improved high quality Balance Bar Cable Adjuster ideal for any competition vehicle. Improvements include a directional pointer knob and anodised Aluminium Alloy body with quarter turn click stops for positive vibration proof positioning plus a new stiffer steel cable. The Ø3.8mm inner steel cable has a polyethylene 'FR' self extinguishing outer tube and is generally stiffer than most adjuster cables on the market to resist 'wind up'. The adjuster body can easily be fitted through a Ø20mm hole in the dashboard or bulkhead. Supplied in 1200mm lengths with an adjustable end fitting allowing the cable to be cut to the required length, the kit includes cable clips and and two direction labels.
