PFR a simple concept Each week the German national grid issues a tender for PFR services with 1 MW min size. With 52 bids/year the service provider must be fast and competitive.that s why STEAG chose BESS and NIDEC 8/16

Performance Project Challenges The German Grid Code requirements Automatic and complete activation within 30 sec in case of frequency deviations Proportional regulation with droop (Statik) as proportional gain Typical value 0,4% with -Pmax @ 200mHz / Pmax @ -200mHz Frequency band to be covered 49,8 Hz.50,2 Hz Deadband 50 Hz ± 10 mhz (49,99 Hz. 50,01 Hz) Time period to be covered per single fault at least 15 min Continuous full call of primary control in prequalified technical units with capacity limitation for at least 30 minutes The primary control must be provided throughout the entire offer period (one week) 10/16

Health & Safety OUR CHALLENGE: Being the first often means having to find solutions to problems that have never been faced before. On the market today there are no containers that are fully compliant with fire safety regulations Working with safety experts we identified a reliable innovative solution to solve the problem installing cement fire containment walls between the trafo and containers. 12/16
