Self reset type Design & Selection WARNING The self-reset type is ville for the vlve lock solenoid position clss. There re two self-reset types, "differentil pressure return" nd "differentil pressure spring return". With oth types, the min vlve returns to the origin (self-resets) when OFF under norml pressures. However, if the supply pressure is 0 in the ON stte, The "differentil pressure return" type will hold the current position, nd The "differentil pressure spring return" type will return to the origin with the spring force. Proper opertion will not occur if polrity is incorrect. Use seprte power for the reduced wiring side nd the individul power input side. If the sme power is used, the reduced wiring side's wiring will not e cut off, resulting in incorrect opertions. Inputting individul power Open the electric cover, nd connect the power input socket (NE0- socket ssemly S/D). When the power input socket is connected, the vlve's internl wiring will e temporrily seprted from the reduced wiring in the mnifold, so power cn e supplied from n externl source. Cre must e tken for points elow. ()The surge suppressor functions to limit solenoid vlve surge voltge, which cn rech severl hundred V, to low voltge level tht the output contct cn withstnd. Depending on the output circuit used, this my e insufficient nd could result in dmge or mlfunction. Check whether the surge suppressor cn e used y the surge voltge limit of the solenoid vlve in use, the output device's withstnd pressure nd circuit structure, nd y the degree of return dely time. If necessry, provide other surge mesures. The inverse voltge surge generted when OFF cn e suppressed to the following levels. MNE0/MNE0 Series () If nother device or solenoid vlve is connected in prllel to the solenoid vlve, the inverse voltge surge generted when the vlve is OFF would pply to those devices. Even when using the solenoid vlve with surge suppressor for VDC, the surge voltge my rech minus severl ten V depending on the model. This inverse polrity voltge could dmge or cuse the other devices connected in prllel to mlfunction. Avoid prllel connection of devices suspected of reversing polrity voltges, e.g., LED indictors. When driving severl solenoid vlves in prllel, the surge from other solenoid vlves could enter the surge suppressor of one solenoid vlve with surge suppressor. Depending on the current vlue, tht surge suppressor could urn. When driving severl solenoid vlves with surge suppressors in prllel, surge current could concentrte t the surge suppressor with the lowest limit voltge nd cuse similr urning. Even if the solenoid vlve type is the sme, the surge suppressor's limit voltge cn e inconsistent, nd in the worst cse, could result in urning. Avoid prllel drive of severl solenoid vlves. ()The surge suppressor incorported in the solenoid vlve will often e short-circuited if it is dmged y n excessive voltge or current from the other solenoid vlves. If the surge suppressor fils, if lrge current flows when output is on, the output circuit or solenoid vlve could e dmged or ignite. Do not keep power on in fulty stte. Provide n overcurrent protection circuit on the power or drive circuit or use power supply with overcurrent protection so tht lrge current does not flow continuously. MNE0 MNE0 M MN (Mster) W.
