The switch-plug can be connected to the power socket. The E-bike has 1 battery connection point located at the back of the battery (charging features: 36V and 1.8AH) Charging time depends on battery capacity: 17 AH : Approx. 8/9 Hours 11.6 AH: Approx. 6/7 Hours TIP: First connect the charger with the bike before connecting to the power socket. Batteries are made of Lithium, they can be recharged after every use. The charger stop charging when the battery is fully charged. You can disconnect the charger. Keep the battery dry and frost-free. It is advisable to fully deplete the battery the first 3 times and after every 100 charge cycles and do a full charge. The distance (maximum range) of one battery depends on weather/road conditions, weight of the driver, tire tension, power setting, frequent braking/accelerating and battery condition. The battery charge according a curve. The first few hours it will charge the most energy. Above 90% it will charge significantly slower. Red light indicate charging. Green light indicate fully charged. 2. The battery can be removed by turning the key on the left side of the battery. Remove key and pull the battery out of the battery case. Lock the battery when you place it back. 9

General information about the E-Bike: 1. The E-Bike is mechanically the same as a normal bike. All moving parts, like cables, brakes, gear and axes can be maintained by using silicon or telfonspray. Check on a regular basis if all bolts and screws are secured. Important points are front and back wheel, luggage rack and steering. When closing the large hinge attachment (frame clamp), note that a certain rising back pressure is felt until the dead point is over. If you are in doubt about the proper operation of the hinge clamp, contact us and do not use the bicycle. Tip: Spray chain and gear after a wet parcours, the chain needs the most lubrication. You can clean the chain with a cleaning kit, available at any bike shop. Tire size is 24 inch, available at any bike shop. Caution with moist, store the bike in a dry environment. Sensitive parts are the display unit and the controller. Rusting parts can be treated with telfonspray. Keep the bike clean and dry to limit corrosion. 2. For gear adjustments you can contact our service line or your local bike technician. Many information about Shimano gears is available on the internet. 3. Keep the tires on tension. This improves driving experience and range. We recommend a tire pressure between 3.5-4.0 Bar. 4. Brakes may need to be adjusted after a while. This can easily be done on the brake levers on the steering wheel. For safety reasons, consult a bike technician for gear and brakes adjustments on the wheel side. 10
