Thomas Reiner for development, production and distribution of pressure-regulated single screw extrusion machines. This was the start-up for the successful SIEBE Engineering GmbH. SIEBE Engineering, Germany, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. SIEBE has been manufacturing extruders and extrusion lines for the past 20 years and is proud to offer one of the largest ranges of cable extrusion lines for a lot of different applications. Project Team At SIEBE, an excellently qualified and highly experienced project team will accompany the realization of your projects from the first planning steps right through to the initial operation of the plant. Global Technical Support Efficient Service and Support after Set-up. Once a SIEBE extrusion line is installed at customer s site, our technical support team puts the line into operation. Product documentation and operator instructions are provided. In addition, we offer special training programs for operators and supervisors according to their knowledge and experience levels. Maintenance by SIEBE technical support team is provided by different levels, ranging from a single maintenance service to individually defined service agreements. Network of Competence By our network of competence, consisting of approved reliable partners of German machinery manufacturers under our responsibility, you receive from us production plants from standalone extruders to the complete turn-key-ready cable factory including local assembly, intensive training and 24 h service world-wide.

Extruder SIEBE today looks back to a two decade long experience in the philosophy, development and fabrication of extruders, which were delivered worldwide predominantly to the cable and plastic industry. In order to be able to select the most economic solution for each procedure, SIEBE manufactures more than 60 different types of single screw extruders, coextrusion-, cascade- and tandemsystems, having a screw diameter range of 18 to 150 mm. Since more than 10 years SIEBE offers special physical foam extrusion systems for the production of coaxial cable. Process Control System SIEBE high performance extrusion lines require a high degree of automation to operate efficiently and economically. Close tolerances of the extruded products are achieved quickly and reliably and are controlled stable a long period of time by our ProcessControlSystem SPCS. Handling in Operator-Machine-Dialogue in native language and production controls of the extrusion line are so simple that on-the-job trained personnel, without knowledge of foreign languages and computing, can be used as operators. Damages to the sophisticated machinery due to operating errors or insufficient supervision are avoided completly by the security functions of the used computer system. Physical Foaming Dependent on the inserted polymers and the desired characteristics of the final products, different dosing systems for different blowing agents or combination of blowing agents are manufactured by us. With our foaming lines the production results are so excellent that in a lot of different applications, the previously used blowing agents could be replaced successfully. Due to the permanent further development of our gas injection SGI and our foam extruders type HSP-GI our process became to a worldwide acknowledged quality standard. Fingerprint The permanent and fully automatic supervision of the extrusion line is a prerequzisite for excellent product quality and high machine availability. The fingerprint system simplifies the service and represents an essential component of the preventive maintenance. Extensive diagnostic routines reports already before appearance of a break-down a slowly arising mistake and show the maintenance personnel at which place of the line preventive repair must be carried out.
QS-Online For the supervision and documentation of the quality production SIEBE offers a system of different independent and synchronized QS-Online modules. Due to the modularity of the quality assurance system it is possible to meet a lot of individual needs. Electronic recordings, illustration and storage of important process values allow a safe process and quality optimization. Control modules High productivity in combination with best product quality requires a fast and precise control. Different independent control modules are available which can be integrated in every production line. Dependent on the process our project team, having extensive know-how and longstanding production experience, choose the best suited control modules for each application. Gas Injection The great success of our gas injection is based on an unique concept. A high precision measurement of the gas mass flow in combination with superimposed controls can so individually be configured, that every customer gets the optimal solution. Only environment compatible, CFC-freely blowing agents, mainly Nitrogen (N 2 ), carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), Argon (Ar) and Helium (He) are used for our process. The maintenance free gas injector is suitable for all kind of gases and gas amounts and can remain in extruder barrel even when the gas injection is not in operation. PDR As an expansion to our QS-Online system we offer a complete production data recording and analysing system PDR. Exact knowledge of the production data is the basic for an efficient optimization of production and personnel requirements. Therefore the SIEBE PDR offers the management extensive information with already processed and condensed data. CoaxCalc The CoaxCalc software is a SIEBE development for the calculation of coaxial cable, prediction of the machine adjustments and final product characteristics. The use of the CoaxCalc software has the following benefits: Fast and precise setting of all production data. Prediction of the final product characteristics. Savings in material especially by a reduced start-up process. Storage of all production line settings, material characteristics and production data.
