LANE DEPARTURE WARNING. OVERVIEW Lane departure warning (TLC): Track Lane Control Time to Line Crossing The area in front of the car is captured by the KAFAS camera When the car approaches a road marking, the steering wheel vibrates to warn the driver Key customer benefit is pre warning of impending departure from a lane (i.e. crossing the centre line or driving off the road)

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING. WARNING OUTPUT The system is available when: Speed above 70kph At least one marking detected The average road width > 2.5m The system outputs the warning to the driver if the driver approaches a detected roadway marking To do so, the system calculates the anticipated time (t) before the roadway marking is crossed. The warning is output in time before the vehicle crosses the marking.
