PAG Powerman Batteries. 12V to 30V 7Ah Battery Packs for Location Lighting. Power for Location Lighting The PAG Powerman is a 7Ah Ni-Cd battery pack designed to provide a robust and reliable source of power for hand-held location lighting. The Powerman is uniquely styled with many original features. The outer case is tough, lightweight, and designed with rounded corners and edges for comfort during use. Unique Carrying Arrangement The Powerman is worn rather than carried, by virtue of a unique arrangement that comprises an adjustable shoulder strap (included) and a waist belt that features a curved body pad (available separately). The weight is distributed evenly as the battery pack is held firmly but comfortably against the users side. An anti-slip device in the body pad prevents the battery slipping around the waist belt during use. High-Quality Cells The PAG Powerman contains specially selected cells of superior quality which provide excellent voltage hold-up characteristics and, therefore, extended run-time. Protective Features The PAG Powerman features a red LED end-of-discharge indicator which flashes with increasing rapidity approximately three minutes prior to the end of discharge. The battery is protected from over discharge by an 'ODP' circuit. This facility prevents cell reversal, the most common cause of premature battery failure. The circuit is reset by simply pressing the 'ODP Reset' button on the top panel (this must be done prior to charging). Charging The Powerman should be fastcharged with PAG ACS chargers, which extend battery cycle life beyond anything that can be achieved using systems of other manufacturers. PAG 30V AR Series chargers are recommended for charging all Powerman batteries. > 30V Powerman with Body Pad Model 9353 Model Voltage Capacity Connectors Dimensions Weight 9339 12.0V 7.0Ah 2 x XLR-4 (M) 166 x 240 x 81mm 4.25kg 9338 13.2V 7.0Ah 2 x XLR-4 (M) 166 x 240 x 81mm 4.50kg 9342 24.0V 7.0Ah 1 x XLR-4 (M) 257 x 240 x 81mm 6.30kg 9330 30.0V 7.0Ah 1 x XLR-4 (M) 257 x 240 x 81mm 7.30kg 9353 PAG Powerman Body Pad 2 POWERMAN BATTERIES

PAG 12V to 30V Ni-Cd Chargers. 30V AR Series Ni-Cd Battery Chargers. PAG ACS Charging The 30V AR Series of microcomputer-controlled fast-chargers operates under the control of PAG ACS, the world s most advanced charging system. The foremost achievement of PAG ACS is the ability to fast-charge, accurately and safely, Ni-Cd batteries of any manufacture. PAG ACS does not require sensors within the battery pack, the two charging wires carry all the feedback information necessary for accurate charge termination. PAG ACS is so accurate that it extends the working life of a battery beyond anything that can be achieved using other systems. Autoranging The Autoranging (AR) facility adapts the charge program to sequentially fast-charge Ni-Cd batteries within the ranges 12V to 31.2V, 1.7Ah to 10Ah. However, 30V AR Series chargers are optimised to fastcharge 24V to 30V battery packs or belts, via front XLR-4 (M) sockets. A 30V 7Ah Pagbelt IC2 or Powerman will be fast-charged in less than two hours. Recovery Charge The Recovery Charge program can be activated to regain capacity which has been lost as a result of extended storage or use under adverse conditions. Maintenance Charge This feature monitors the battery after the main charge program and automatically maintains it in a state of full-charge until the battery is removed from the charger. Worldwide Operation 30V AR Series chargers incorporate switch-mode power supply technology which adjusts automatically to enable operation wordwide.
