Switchboard with a tunnel Recommendations Ceiling clearance H for installing an anti-arcing tunnel - If H > 4 m: installation of a tunnel is not necessary for anti-arcing withstand. - If H < 4 m: a ceiling height that is greater than or equal to 3 m is necessary to be able to install a standard tunnel. ccording to switchboard configuration, external extraction may be recommended (consult us). The following criteria must be considered: - Use an exhaust gutter with a crosssection determined according to the value of the internal arcing. Installation above the switchboard ll installation of equipment, such as lamps is prohibited to avoid using the switchboard roof to access this equipment. Version 3600 / 4000 For proper switchboard ventilation, external extraction is required to avoid accumulating hot air in the tunnel. Installation Wall mounting IPX1 IPX2 Note: to use the standard tunnel, the wall surface must be able to support brackets. If this is not possible, consult us. H: ceiling clearance. Cubicle mounting For standard or earthquake-resistant civil engineering, see installation manual no. 7897301. For a civil engineering structure built with a false floor or beams, consult Schneider Electric. Summary of different mounting methods Non earthquake-resistant civil engineering : front rail, supplied at the switchboard installation B: D FU MV cable opening C: LV cable opening D: horizontal adjustment with the rear screw risers E: rear support shim F: rear rail, supplied at the switchboard installation G: anti-vibration rubber shim. G Earthquake-resistant civil engineering The ground must be perfectly smooth and free from any surface asperities. 07897303EN.indd version 09 17

Incoming configuration of MV cables General information The civil engineering execution and the installation of MV cables must take several inputs into account: - The bending radius of the cables. - Cable slack to push and pull them. - Cable handling according to incoming configurations and free cable length from its point of insertion in the maintenance space. Some recommendations are given below. Other incoming configurations are possible, particularly if there is greater clearance under the FUs. Note: if the cable box is used, adapt the depth of the maintenance space. Should you have questions concerning a configuration, contact your nearest Schneider Electric representative. Civil engineering with maintenance space MV cables incoming from the rear Intended for cables up to 240 mm². Not recommended for 630 mm² cables. 255 255 : cable box if necessary. 200 MV cables incoming from the front Not recommended for 630 mm² cables. : cable box if necessary. 255 MV cables incoming from the side near a wall Intended for cables up to 240 mm². Not recommended for 630 mm² cables. : cable box if necessary. 255 255 200 18 Printed version 2012/04/06 09 07897303EN.indd

Incoming configuration of MV cables MV cables incoming from the side at a distance from a wall Possible for all cable diameters up to 630 mm². ccording to the distance from the wall, the dimension E must be u 2 m for 630 mm² cables. 255 : cable box if necessary. Civil engineering with a gutter MV cables incoming from the rear 255 255 Intended for cables up to 240 mm². Not recommended for 630 mm² cables. : cable box if necessary. 200 MV cables incoming from the front Intended for cables up to 240 mm². Incoming by nozzle is not recommended if the gutter dimensions are small. 255 : cable box if necessary. MV cables incoming from the side near a wall Intended for cables up to 240 mm².
