A Classic, sliced extra thin At first glance, Slimline looks exactly like our C2000 Classic Series switches and sockets. Viewed from the side, however, it s a completely different story. Schneider Electric has taken Classic and sliced it extra thin! The result is Slimline, a range of switches and sockets that are only 4mm thick (or should we say, thin), making them some of the thinnest switches and sockets in the world. 13mm 4mm Slimline accessories have a projection of only 4mm, compared with around 13mm for similar moulded switches and sockets. 2

4 Slimline s grid flex
design ensures a flush finish Our Grid Flex design makes installation super smooth. The secret is in the specially designed grid flex slots. They allow the grid assembly to distort slightly while keeping the cover plate neat and flat against the wall. Most Slimline grid assemblies now incorporate our unique Grid Flex design. This patented system allows the flush plate to adjust to unevenness in the mounting surface, ensuring a perfectly flat finish. Cover up paint spills Slimline all-over covers can be removed while painting or decorating, to keep the switches and sockets looking like new. Snap-on paint protection shields are also available (SL2000PP,TR). 5
Smooth as silk or bold as brass Like the popular Classic C2000 Series accessories on which it is based, Slimline features an all-over, removable cover that lets you create a new look in a flash. A premium range such as Slimline deserves a broad selection of colours and finishes, and in this regard you won t be disappointed. Slimline is available in two standard colours, white or black, with a range of optional metal finish cover plates to suit any décor. Slimline switches blend in beautifully For a number of years, architects, builders and interior designers have been requesting slim switches that will blend into the wall surface. Previously, the only option available was the more expensive metal plate switches. Now, with the introduction of Slimline, there s a comprehensive range that is truly unique, but still looks perfectly at home when used in tandem with regular C2000 Classic products. The new look slim twin The Slimline twin socket incorporates a European style design which places the two switches together in the centre of the plate for easier access. This is another first in Australasian accessory design and will further enhance the attraction of this unique range. Note: Sockets available as horizontal only. Even installation times have been sliced! Slimline is very installer friendly. Each product in the range comes with an installation template to ensure a perfect fit every time. Slimline s thin design requires a more precise cut-out to accommodate the mounting bases. Schneider Electric also offers a low cost Clipsal spacer (SL2000WBS) to take the guesswork out of masonry wall installations. The spacer reserves an exact recess of 10mm to ensure a snug fit for the Slimline accessory. Slimline switches and sockets have the same terminal dimensions as our other accessories. The twin switched socket (SC2025) with new terminal design also incorporates a driver guide to make installation even easier. Schneider Electric also offers the option of installing the Slimline ranges to plaster brackets or wall clips. The options of the new recessed nail brackets (155NAR & 155VNAR) as well as the plaster bracket (155PRM) and recessed wall clip (154RM) allows Slimline to be installed onto popular plaster walls. The 90BI Intermediate and Universal Insulating Shroud is also designed to ensure Slimline products are double insulated for extra safety. New inline terminal driver guide. Mounting options include the standard 84mm centres as well as four screw fixing positions.
