MIXING RATIO (COMPONENTS A : B) By weight RESISTANCE HINTS OF APPLICATION MIXING INSTRUCTIONS APPLICATION METHOD SikaCor HM Primer: 90 : 10 SikaCor HM Mastic: 75 : 25 The described system as well as the single layers are resistant to water, weathering, deicing salts and petrol. When exposed to sunlight, the colour of SikaCor HM Mastic may change to greyish red without any negative effects. Stir component A very thoroughly using an electric mixer (start slowly, then increase up to approx. 300 rpm). Add component B carefully and mix both components very thoroughly (including sides and bottom of the container). Mix for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. Fill mixed material into clean container and mix again shortly as described above. During mixing and handling of the materials always wear protective goggles, suitable gloves and other protective clothings. SikaCor HM Primer can be applied by spray, brush or roller (for further information see our product data sheet SikaCor HM Primer ). Apply SikaCor HM Mastic uniformly on the cured primer coat with trowel, squeegee, serrated trowel or airless spraying. Design 1, version 1: Broadcast Sikalastic827 HT on the freshly applied, still sticky layer. Broadcast chippings 2/5 mm on the freshly applied, still sticky layer. Data for airlessspraying: Equipment (capacity 10 l/min) with a spray pressure in gun of min. 200 bar; diameter of hoses min. 10 mm (⅜ inch); nozzle size 0.019 0.023 inch (0.48 0.58 mm); spray angle 40 60. Temperature of material and equipment min. + 25 C. At low temperatures the use of a flow heater as well as insulation of the hoses is strongly recommended. Do not add thinner! Design 1, version 1: After full curing of SikaCor HM Mastic, remove nonadherent Sikalastic827 HT by sweeping with a broom. After full curing of SikaCor HM Mastic, remove nonadherent chippings with a steel broom. Melt Esha Isoton at 180 C to max. 200 C, pour it on the SikaCor HM Mastic layer and spread it evenly. Broadcast bituminized chippings 2/5 mm on the freshly applied buffer layer. 3/5
