Gates open at 2:00 pm General Rules: 1. Scale on site McLeod County Fair Truck and Tractor Pull Saturday August 19, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. 2. Driver must be 18 years of age or if 17 or younger must have parent written consent. 3. Tractor must have hitch hole or quarter turn clevis at least 3 inches in diameter. Pulling points not more than 20 inches high and at least 18 inches behind center of axle 4. All added weight must be fastened securely. Rear weight may not interfere with hooking of sled. Front weight bracket and weights must not extend more than 11 feet from center of rear axle. 5. Driver must stop immediately upon signal from judge. Pull is over when forward motion stops. 6. Loss of any object from tractor while hooking to sled will results in disqualification. 7. Tractor must be in neutral when hooked and unhooked. 8. Pull with terminate if contestant runs out of bounds. 9. Driver will remain seated at all times. 10. Hood, grill and fan shroud must be in place. 11. Driver must be present at drivers meeting at 5:30 p.m. 12. Driver and Official only on track, all others will be disqualified from racing and no refunds Antique Hobby Stock Rules 1959 and Older 1. No cut, groomed or radial tires. 2. NO aluminum frame or chassis components. Any non-aluminum rear wheels allowed. 3. Tractor must run on fuel type for which it was originally equipped. 4. Must have stock block, crank case, head, manifolds and carburetor for that model tractor. 5. Hitch must be rigid in all directions. 2 or 3 points hitches must be locked. Pulling hitches allowed.
5700 and or 6200 Improved Stock 1. No Turbo 2. OEM Engine Size 3. No Fuel Injection 4. No Nitro or Alcohol 5. Steel Flywheel and Pressure plate or shatter shields. 6. Hitch must be ridge in all directions. Pulling hitches allowed Out of the Field 9500, 12500, 15000 1. Out of the field, stock equipped 2. No turbocharger unless originally equipped 3. No cut or groomed tires. No aluminum frame or chassis components. Aluminum front wheels allowed Hot Farm Stock - Improved Hot Farm - Heavy Open Rule 1. No speed limit 2. No RPM limit 3. No cut tires (exception heavy open tractor) 4. No aluminum frame or chassis components aluminum weight brackets and front wheels allowed (exception heavy open tractors) 5. Engine block and crankcase must be same length, height, numbers of cylinders, and make as stock. 6. Engine must run on gas or diesel fuel. Intake manifold must be cast. Cylinder head must cast iron. 7. Carburetor must be a carburetor with original draft directions 8. Dual tires allowed in 16500 lb. and king of the hill (any tractor) classes only 9. Hot farm tractor must have factory crossover for 11000 & 12500 lb. classes 10. Hot farm classes must have air shutoff or kill switch, wheelie bars and steel fly wheel, this is mandatory. RPOS w/seatbelts or roll cage are Mandatory 11. Improved Hot Farm classes must have wheelie bars, ROPS w/seatbelts or roll cage, steel fly wheel, and air shutoff or kill switch and scatter blankets. Super Stock FWD 6200lb Class 1. Based on the NTPA Super Stock Rules 2. 530 Ci Engine limit
3. Must provide own clevis, clevis must be 3 wide X 3.7 deep hole 4. 26 inch hitch height 5. Weight bars allowed 60 inches from the center of front axle 6. D.O.T. Tires only (No cutting or Grooving allowed) 7. Must have all safety equipment, drive shaft loops/collars, working kill switch, fire extinguisher, engine side shields, SFI Approved Bell housing, Reverse light, helmet, full fire suit, and seat belt or restraints. 8. Other Rules apply (every truck will be teched the day of the event. 9. Stock trucks off the street may run (will not be expected to have all safety equipment) Street Modified FWD Diesel Trucks 8500lb Class 1. Must provide own clevis, clevis must be 3 wide X 3.7 deep hole. 2. D.O.T. tires only ( No cutting or grooving allowed) 3. 1 turbo only (unless factory had more at the time the truck was made) 4. No nitrous allowed 5. Weight bar allowed 60 inches from the center of front axle. 6. 26 inch hitch height 7. Ladder bars allowed 8. Must have all safety equipment, drive shaft loops/collars, working kill switch, fire extinguisher, engine side shields, SFI Approved Bell housing, Reverse light, helmet, full fire suit, and seat belt or restraint. 9.
