Subdivision (f) of Subsection (3) entitled Penalty of Section 8.14 of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows: (f) Any person violating any of the other subsections of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than five dollars ($5) nor more than one hundred and fifty dollars ($100$150).

Section 8.16 entitled Unauthorized Motorized Vehicles Prohibited on Public Lands of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows: It shall be unlawful to operate or park any unauthorized motorized vehicle in or upon any portion of public land including, but not limited to, parks, median strips, parkways, school grounds or open space easements, unless designated as a park drive, roadway, parking area or temporary parking area within such public land. Every temporary parking area shall be designated by signs and the extent of its limits shall be clearly marked. Motorized vehicle means any self-propelled device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than fifty one hundred dollars ($50100) for the first offense and not less than fifty dollars ($50) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200) for the second or subsequent conviction within a year. 5. Subsection (6) of Section 12.045 entitled Emergency Regulations of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by amending therein the following (6) Any person violating the provisions of Sec. 12.045(2) and (3) shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than ten dollars ($10) nor more than twenty thirty dollars ($2030)for the first offense and not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than fifty dollars ($50) for the second or subsequent conviction within a year. In the event the vehicle is towed, the forfeiture shall be not less than forty dollars ($40) nor more than seventy dollars ($70). 6. Subsection (1) of Section 12.79 entitled Penalty for Violating Sections 12.74 Through 12.782 of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by amending therein the following (1) Any person violating any provision of Sections 12.76(1) to (4), 12.78(6), 12.782(3) and (4) may be required to forfeit not more than twenty forty dollars ($2040). 7. Subsection (10) of Section 12.141 entitled Penalties for Violating Sections 12.122 Through 12.140 of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by amending therein the following (10) Any person violating Section 12.128(13), 12.128(15) or any Section 12.131, 12.132 or 12.133 shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than twenty dollars ($20) nor more than forty sixty dollars ($4060) for the first offense and not less than fifty dollars ($50) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100) for the second or subsequent conviction within a year. EDITOR'S NOTE: New or amended bail deposits must be approved by Municipal Judge prior to adoption. These deposits have been so approved.
