MORE RELIABLE THAN CONVENTIONAL HYBRID AIRFIELD GROUND LIGHTING (H-AGL) IS DESIGNED AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR CONVENTIONAL (WIRED/MAINS) SYSTEMS. Our customers normally operate in remote locations such as African Desert, Jungles of Brazil or Alaska where conventional lighting is not an option due to unavailable or unreliable electrical infrastructure or when our customer is looking for cost effective solution. Airport Operating Companies value Hybrid AGL because it provides them with access to reliable infrastructure in locations where traditional lighting is not suitable. S4GA lighting increases safety, saves money on maintenance and helps to make money due to increased operations. Energized by electrical circuit it requires advanced infrastructure including: constant current regulators, isolating transformers, thousand meters of primary and secondary cables, etc. Unlike conventional cable-based lighting Hybrid system is 100% wireless and consists of independent lighting units. There is no need to build complicated electrical circuit which significantly lowers overall cost of Hybrid AGL. Less complex system makes it easier to maintain and troubleshoot. FIRST AND TRULY HYBRID SP-401 is powered by deep-cycle battery providing up to 80 hrs of autonomy. The battery can be energized in three different ways: via solar panel, electrical installation or charging station. To achieve highest level of redundancy: SP-401 can be energized via solar panel and cable simultaneously. This way unit is using solar energy to charge batteries.
