HYBRID AIRFIELD GROUND LIGHTING REAL ALTERNATIVE FOR CONVENTIONAL AGL
MORE RELIABLE THAN CONVENTIONAL HYBRID AIRFIELD GROUND LIGHTING (H-AGL) IS DESIGNED AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR CONVENTIONAL (WIRED/MAINS) SYSTEMS. Our customers normally operate in remote locations such as African Desert, Jungles of Brazil or Alaska where conventional lighting is not an option due to unavailable or unreliable electrical infrastructure or when our customer is looking for cost effective solution. Airport Operating Companies value Hybrid AGL because it provides them with access to reliable infrastructure in locations where traditional lighting is not suitable. S4GA lighting increases safety, saves money on maintenance and helps to make money due to increased operations. Many features of Hybrid AGL makes it significantly more reliable than Conventional (wired) system. NO. 1 CHOICE FOR NON-PRECISION IFR S ICAO Compliance verified by third-party testing Affordable alternative for conventional wired lighting Installation takes only 5 days 2-5X LESS EXPENSIVE THAN CONVENTIONAL AGL ASSUMPTION FOR CONVENTIONAL AGL SYSTEM: Non-instrumental runway of length 2.000m and width 45m. Parallel taxiway, 3 entries to the runway, and one entry to the main apron located at 400m from the runway centerline. Tower located near the main apron at 700m on cable way from runway centerline. Power supply for navigational lights via interleaving loops (except for taxiway edge lights). Threshold lights powered and controlled separately from the rest of the lights, with possibility to choose approach direction. NO CABLES, NO TRANSFORMERS, NO CCR Conventional runway lighting is a highly complex system. Energized by electrical circuit it requires advanced infrastructure including: constant current regulators, isolating transformers, thousand meters of primary and secondary cables, etc. Unlike conventional cable-based lighting Hybrid system is 100% wireless and consists of independent lighting units. There is no need to build complicated electrical circuit which significantly lowers overall cost of Hybrid AGL. Less complex system makes it easier to maintain and troubleshoot. FIRST AND TRULY HYBRID SP-401 is powered by deep-cycle battery providing up to 80 hrs of autonomy. The battery can be energized in three different ways: via solar panel, electrical installation or charging station. To achieve highest level of redundancy: SP-401 can be energized via solar panel and cable simultaneously. This way unit is using solar energy to charge batteries. When there is not enough solar energy - unit will start using power provided by electrical grid. 20W Solar Panel 24V DC Electrical Installation OCT-401 Charging Station ORDER YOUR HYBRID AIRFIELD LIGHTING TODAY AT OFFICE@SOLUTIONS4GA.COM Equipment Type Model Code Unit Type Light colour Optics type EDG (W/W) White/White EDG (W/Y) Runway Edge White/Yellow Bi-Directional EDG (W) White Omni-Directional Red-Green Bi-Directional Lighting Unit SP-401 THD Runway Threshold/End Red Uni-Directional Green Uni-Directional TWY Taxiway Blue Omni-Directional FATO Helipad Green Omni-Directional OBS Obstruction Red Omni-Directional CUS Customized - - Solar Panel - SP20 20W - - - SP10 10W - - Mounting - For Concrete /Asphalt - - - For Grass/Ground - - - Charging station OCT-401 - - - - Product specifications may be subject to change, and specifications listed here are not binding.
