The Company CENTRAL INDUSTRIES PLC is an ISO 9001:2000 system certified company and a subsidiary of the CENTRAL FINANCE CO PLC. Central Industries PLC manufactures NATIONAL PVC Pipes & Fittings, a brand name synonymous with quality. National PVC is the first pipe to receive SLS standards and also ISO 9000 system certification in Sri Lanka. With more than two decades of experience in manufacturing and supplying quality PVC products to the market, Central Industries PLC understand the needs of the customers islandwide and is always ready to anticipate and accommodate the customer requirements. To ensure the reputation of our products are upheld at all times, each product is stringently checked at every stage of production. Each product is being tested and approved at various levels in house in compliance with SLS standards. The company s relentless pursuit of excellence, coupled with its capabilities in procurement and innovative production controls, have proven to be cost effective and have an edge in maintaining our pricing at competitive levels. Recently the company commenced manufacturing Electrical Switches and Accessories under the brand name KRYPTON.
Krypton Electrical Switches and Accessories are manufactured at the CENTRAL INDUSTRIES PLC factory at Kerawalapitiya, Wattala, which is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and is being continuously upgraded to give optimum service to their customers and to enhance reliability of their products. Krypton Electrical Switches were awarded the SLS 1000 Standards Certification by the Sri Lanka Standard Institution on the 06th of September 2007. The unique features of Krypton are its exclusive designs, brilliant white polycarbonate casing, long lasting contacts, solid copper plates and heavy duty springs. Whilst supplying to the local market the company has also plans to enter the export market. Today, its range of electrical products are manufactured to meet an increasing demand from both the industrial and domestic sector. The extensive range includes, Flush Switches, Dimmers, Sockets, Communication Outlets, Plugs, Miniature Circuit Breakers, Residual Current Circuit Breakers, and Isolators. The consistent quality of these products speak for itself and they are well accepted in the market by professionals.
