SPB Nickel-Cadmium GM VRL Batteries block batteries Technical manual

Product information The Sunlight SP B range of Valve Regulated Lead cid batteries has been developed to offer an advantageous solution to the increased market needs. The specifications of Sunlight SP B type are focused to cost efficiency results, whilst still obtaining the highperformance requirements in specific applications. The design of the Sunlight SP B range makes the specific batteries appropriate for most of the market segments, The technology used in the Maintenance Free Sunlight SP B batteries is the bsorbed Glass Mat (GM) that immobilizes the battery electrolyte. ll of the acid is absorbed in the plates and separators, minimizing acid leakage. The phenomenon of gas recombination, which is observed in the electrolysis of water during the recharge, removes permanently the need of water addition. The Sunlight SP B batteries are factory sealed. answering to the demands of UPS market, telecommunications, information technologies, and emergency power supply. Features and benefits Standards ñ ñ ñ vailable in monoblocs (6V&V) from 33 up to 200h Computer designed lead, calcium tin alloy grid for high power density Safety valve detects rising of internal pressure and allows gas to exit Compliant with international standards ñ IEC 896-2 ñ BS 6290-4 ñ DIN 43534 ñ UL-recognized component ñ Quality certified by ISO 9001 ñ BS case material (flame retardant case, available on ñ Not restricted for air transport-complies with IT regulations request) ñ Can be mounted in any orientation (except completely inverted position) ñ Service life is 10- years in floating applications @ 20 o C ambient temperature (80% remaining capacity) ñ Six month shelf life at 20 o C 2
