Proposal for guidelines 1. The system behaves legally compliant and employs an anticipatory driving style. 2a. In case of violations of laws and regulations by other road users, the system reconstitutes legal compliance. 2b. If this is not possible, or other road users or animals/objects cause hazard, the system prevents the accident or mitigates the damage. 3. Uninvolved persons should not be harmed. Protection of persons has priority over protection of animals and property. Human lives must not be weighed against each other.

Summary AI goes into series production now AI and connectivity are pushing the limits of AD but must be combined with proper safety concepts The combination of AI and wellestablished approaches reveals its full potential regarding performance and safety System know-how is mandatory to ensure safety first
