PRODUCT DATA SHEET CamSafe 3 & CamSafe 3 WM Camsafe 3 and Camsafe 3 Wall Mounted CamSafe 3 and CamSafe WM (WallMounted) are filter housings that can be used to supply or exhaust air. They are safe change filter housing. Indeed, the filter can be changed without breaking the containment thanks to the Bag In Bag Out (BIBO) process. This process is required when the air might be contaminated (particles, microorganisms, gases). The CamSafe 3 and CamSafe WallMounted are designed to be used within LifeScience (Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology), Healthcare (Hospital), Biological Safety Laboratory, Animal facilities. The CamSafe WM version is suitable for API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) purposes. The design allows to have access to the filtration equipment from the room. The advantage is to remove API as close as possible to their emission points, avoiding long stretches of contaminated pipeline. In addition to our CamSafe Family, the CamSafe 3 and CamSafe WM are equipped with a clamping device which is positioned outside the airflow, so a reliable in-situ scanning can be performed. Moreover, our Tech Center has developed a new probe (patented) to enhance significantly the reliability of the leak detection. Leak tight test device DSP-3 Pressure Range: 0-3 kpa Measurement Range: Min 6 l/h Max 60l/h Function: Suitable for testing HEPA/ULPA filters with test grooves Housing dimensions: LxWxH: 240 x 120 x 160 The Camfil seal position tester can be used to test all HEPA/ULPA filter cells for perfect seal position in any suitable duct housing, even during operation. Connection pieces on CAMFILFKB/D, FKS/D, CAMSAFE, CAMBOX and containment housings are clearly indicated with a label. For FKOP housings, connection pieces are located on the side of the interior of the housing. According to DIN 1946/sheet 4, the leakage air flow must be tested between the filter seal and housing support frame at an overpressure of 2000 Pa (200 mm water column) in the test groove. The permissible leakage air flow VL should not exceed the natural leakage air rate (penetration) of the HEPA/ULPA filter, E11 H14 as per DIN EN 1822. www.camfil.com 13
