HOW TO INSTALL SKIS ON A RAILZ SCOOTER Step 1 Locate the RAILZ Scooter, the two RAILZ Skis, the two axle bolts, and the two 5mm hex keys. Follow instructions on next page to open the RAILZ Scooter. Step 4 Tighten the axle using the two 5mm hex keys. Step 2 Align one of the RAILZ Skis with the front fork axle hole and insert the internal thread axle bolt through the front fork axle hole and the ski bushing. Step 5 Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the rear ski. You may have to depress the RAILZ brake a little to allow the axle bolt to align with the rear fork axle hole. Step 3 Insert the external thread axle bolt through the front fork hole from the other side and thread clockwise into the internal thread bolt. HOW TO OPEN A RAILZ SCOOTER Step 1 Lift the bail on the lynch pin and swing it away from the pin. Step 4 Insert the lynch pin into the open position hole (upper hole). Step 2 Pull lynch pin out. Step 5 Push lynch pin through the brackets (pin will fit tight and will need to be aligned and manipulated to get pin pushed through the brackets). Step 3 Swing handle bar up to the open position. HOW TO OPEN A RAILZ SCOOTER Step 7 Locate the safety bolt (attached to scooter in a zip bag). Step 9 Install the threaded bolt from the other side. Step 8 Push the bolt through the bracket as shown. HOW TO CONVERT FROM SNOW SCOOTER TO WHEEL SCOOTER Step 1 Remove rear axle bolt using two 5mm hex keys. Step 4 - Remove brake axle bolt using 8mm wrench and 4mm hex key. Step 2 Axle bolt removed from rear ski. Step 5 Brake axle bolt and spring removed from Scooter & Brake. Step 3 Remove front axle bolt using two 5mm hex keys. Step 6 Insert wheel axle bolt through the rear axle mount and wheel (align axle bolt through wheel bearings and internal bearing spacer). Proceed to step 7 on page 7. Step 7 Insert axle bolt from opposite side of axle and use two 5mm hex keys to tighten (ensure that wheel still spins freely). Step 10 - Use 4mm hex key with twisting motion to compress spring and allow axle to be pushed through opposite side holes. Step 8 Locate wheel brake, axle, nut and spring. Step 11 Install the 8mm nut on the brake axle bolt and tighten using a 4mm hex key and 8mm wrench. Step 9 Start axle bolt through wheel brake and spring.
