I. PERMITS Permits are required every semester Summer 2018 permits go on sale 5/1/18. Fall 2018 permits go on sale 7/31/18. II. STUDENT PERMITS a. Residential Students Green Residential Permit For Baker, Bonin, Corona, Harris and Huger Halls Zones 22R (Olivier floors 3-6 and Taft floors 1-6) and the overflow is zone 15 Yellow Residential Permit For Agnes Edwards Hall Zones 29R and 27 and the overflow is zone 15 for SU18 & F18 semesters
II. STUDENT PERMITS a. Commuter Students Cajun Field Permit required every semester FREE Commuter Permit for this area Bus to/from campus & Bourgeois Hall Bus schedule available at transit.louisiana.edu Girard Tower / Zone 13 Permit required on floors 3-6 $300/Fall or Spring semester $100 Summer semester Park-and-Pay on floors 1-2 $5 first 2 hrs (2 hr. min.); $1 per hour over 2 hrs Extend by cell option Kiosks located by elevators and stairs; accept debit/credit only
b. Commuter Students - extras Night permits Non-Gated Areas after 3:00pm Includes Zones 15, 2F, Hebrard Street, etc. Does NOT include: residential zones Girard Parking Tower reserved spaces Gated Areas after 4:30pm if gate rises Permit Price - $25/semester Remember All vehicles parked at Cajun Field must have an active permit every semester.

BUSES Cajun Field: Park And Ride Transit Schedule Fall /Spring Semesters Mon Thurs: 7:00 am 9:00 pm Fri: 7:00 am 7:00 pm Summer Semesters Mon Thurs: 7:00 am 6:00 pm Fri: 7:00 am 2:00 pm Two Bus Routes: The Vermilion Rex Street, Cajun Field and Bourgeois Hall. The Teche Student Union, Cajun Field and Bourgeois Hall. *please check the Ride Systems app for available routes. Transit service is not available when the University is not in session. There s an app for that! Ride Systems ios and Android app Provides live bus tracking and ETA to bus stops

IV. BIKES Bike Parking Lock bikes to bike racks only Bikes may be impounded if locked improperly Keep a record of your bike: picture, brand, color & serial number. Bike Safety Rules of the Road Correct Not correct Green lanes on St. Mary are shared lanes with vehicles. Ride with traffic, not against Ride defensively
V. ENFORCEMENT Parking is enforced: Monday Friday: 7:00 am 9:00 pm. Every weekday except dates university is officially closed. Yes - even when classes are not in session. Review the Traffic Code for all parking rules. Two Types University vehicle - LPR On foot enforcement Confirming: vehicle legally parked; plate visible from aisle; active permit; correct zone; number of unpaid citations and more.
VI. TRAFFIC CODE Popular Violations: 1. NO ACTIVE PERMIT / NOT REGISTERED - A parking permit is required every semester. 2. PLATE NOT VISIBLE - All license plates must be visible from the traffic aisle. VII. CITATIONS Notification Paper citation placed on windshield Email sent to UL email address Checklist Do you have an active permit for the semester? Did you park correctly? Does the license plate information match your vehicle? Check the Traffic Code for other possible violations. Appeals 1 st level: Must be submitted online within 4 class days or 96 hours. Appeals Officer will review and respond within 2-14 days. 2 nd level: Appeals Committee meets once a month during fall & spring. Must sign up to attend in our office. Consequences Holds A hold is placed on university account until fine is paid. Holds prevent registration, class drops/adds and viewing grades. Immobilizations (aka boots) A vehicle is eligible for immobilization the day after it accumulates the third unpaid citation. Immobilizations are a separate citation with $100 fine. Immobilized vehicles are towed off campus if balance due is not paid by 4 pm same day.
