Aligned as a regional business, the maintenance and repair of medium electrical engines and generators with power up to approx. 200 kw was part of the business segment until 1989. On January the 1st of 1989, Dipl.-Ing. Ing. Thomas Partzsch took over the business. After the structural and social changes over the years 1989/90 in Germany, there was a chance for better developments and business expansion. At that time the family business had 7 employees. Since then Thomas Partzsch specialized on repairs of electrical machines and continually expanded. Today the PARTZSCH Group of Companies has more than 700 employees, possesses 27 production halls with around 49,000 sqm of space and is the leading repair company in Europe for electrical machines independently of make and type. PARTZSCH engineered by GENET GENET GMBH PARTZSCH ENGINEERED BY GENET GENET is a sales and engineering company specialized on tailor-made designs of synchronous generators for different applications like hydro power, steam turbines, gas turbines etc. The GENET team consists of generator experts with experience in sales, engineering, production and after sales. The partnership of GENET and PARTZSCH offers our customers high-quality synchronous generators for the power generation market. In 2015 we launched the new generator series PARTZSCH engineered by GENET.

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE ON-SITE If you have an issue with your electrical machines on-site and need support contact PARTZSCH or GENET. We offer world-wide service on generators up to 50 MVA on all makes. Our service team consists of 25 service engineers and can perform commissioning, maintenance, trouble-shooting, cleaning of electrical machines, repair and overhaul on-site. Our engineers are equipped with the most modern test and measurement equipment and can perform high-voltage tests, tan Delta- and insulation resistance measurements as well as determination of polarization index aot. Furthermore we offer maintenance contracts. We are aware of the high costs in connection with an unplanned downtime of your equipment. Accordingly, our focus is on prompt support in order to solve your problem as soon as possible.
REPAIR AT OUR WORKS AND REMANUFACTURINGS Some major repairs cannot be performed on-site in line with our high quality standards. In this case we recommend to transport the equipment to our works for repair. At the PARTZSCH works, we can perform repair of electrical machines up to 250 MVA of all makes even if no production documents / drawings are available. Due to our broad in-house production (e.g. wire, coil, laminations etc.) we guarantee short delivery times and high flexibility. At our works all major parts of the electrical machines will be dismounted, cleaned, dried and impregnated. Our balancing facilities can balance rotors up to a weight of 32 t (2-24 poles). If a repair is not economic anymore we offer a remanufacturing. Our engineers will come on-site and inspect, measure and record all details of the electrical machine. As we have experience in special designs, we can offer an identical remanufacturing that will fit the requirements on-site - even if no production documents / drawings are available. PARTZSCH does not only arrange for the repair we also manage the necessary logistics (like arranging a service engineer for inspection of the electrical machine on-site prior to the repair as well as transport to our works and back to the customer). We take care of your issues and we are well aware of the costs in connection with the downtime of your equipment.
