3.1 TRAVELLER TECHNOLOGY PAGE 1 BlueHDi Diesel Engines Under the bonnet of the PEUGEOT Traveller is our BlueHDi diesel engine, combining enhanced driving comfort with optimal fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. The powerful BlueHDi 180 hp EAT6 automatic engine makes for a highly pleasurable drive, with a 6-speed fully automatic gearbox and Quickshift technology. Enjoy swift gear changes, fluid drivability and optimal CO₂ emissions, all under the hood of this PEUGEOT MPV. Modular and Efficient Platform The base of the PEUGEOT Traveller has been adapted from the Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2). It ensures record-level fuel consumption in the segment and a relaxed driving experience. Even when the multi-purpose vehicle is full, the variable load-adjusting shock absorbers guarantee maximum comfort for everyone inside. Park Assist 180 Active Safety Brake The Park Assist 180 pack includes front and rear parking sensors with blind spot monitoring system and Visio Park 180. Thanks to the 4 sensors located on the front and rear bumpers of your vehicle, the Blind spot monitoring system lets you know if a vehicle is present in your left or right hand side blind spot, during your journey. A light appears in one of the door mirrors or on the screen as a warning. The colour reversing camera is automatically activated when the driver selects reverse gear. It provides a 180 aerial view of the rear zone of the vehicle ans its surroundings. The rear view includes guidance lines which turn with the steering wheel. When there are obstacles behind the vehicle, the system automatically zooms in, in addition to providing other views on request. The Active Safety Brake is a new generation automatic emergency braking system which is activated if a collision is about to take place. The camera and radar detect moving or stationary obstacles. If the brakes are not applied, or if the driver does not brake hard enough, the system brakes for them. It can prevent the impact if the speed is below 18mph, or reduce the result of the collision above this speed, by reducing the speed of impact. Note: Cost option Note: Cost option on Active and standard on Allure PEUGEOT Grip Control Smartbeam Headlights PEUGEOT Traveller is equipped with new generation Grip Control which improves handling through its traction control system. You can choose between five modes: Snow, Off-road, Sand, ESP standard or switched off. Depending on the driving mode selected the system will make sure you have the optimal grip and traction for the situation you are in. Note: Cost option Activated at night, the system automatically controls the switch between main beam and dipped headlamps, and vice versa, when oncoming vehicles are identified by the camera. Lane Departure Warning System An alert detects if solid or broken white road markings are crossed unintentionally, when the indicator is not activated. The audible and visual alert is particularly useful if the driver becomes drowsy or loses concentration. Note: Cost option Note: Cost option
3.1 TRAVELLER TECHNOLOGY PAGE 2 7" colour touchscreen with Connected 3D Navigation and PEUGEOT Connect SOS & Assistance Linked to the 7.0" capacitive colour touchscreen, the system includes European mapping, 3D city mapping and voice recognition (for radio, navigation and telephone functions). The system also includes a 3 year subscription to PEUGEOT Connect allowing an automatic, permanent connection to online navigation services (in partnership with TomTom ). Key features of PEUGEOT Connected 3D Navigation include: TomTom Traffic: Real-time updates on traffic conditions (traffic jams, roadworks) and suggested alternative routes. Local Weather: Displays forecasted weather condtions along the route. Fuel Stations: Displays nearby fuel stations and pricing. Local search: Access address and contact detail information for a point of interest. PEUGEOT Connect SOS & Assistance is now in use in most major European countries, including the UK, and is technology that could prove vital in an emergency. Automatic emergency call: if the airbags inflate or the seat belt pretensioners are triggered, the vehicle automatically makes an emergency call on behalf of the driver. PEUGEOT Connect SOS then locates the vehicle, establishes telephone communication with its occupants and arranges for the appropriate emergency service to be dispatched. Manual emergency call: whether the victim or the witness of an emergency situation, the driver can call PEUGEOT Connect SOS quickly by pressing the SOS button located on the dashboard (and holding for 3 seconds). Head-Up Display The Head-Up Display projects the information essential to driving onto a retractable screen located in the driver s field of vision: speed, cruise control or speed limiter setting, etc. All the information you need is right in front of your eyes, ensuring a safer driving experience. Note: Standardon Allure and a cost option on Active Mirror Screen & Apple CarPlay Mirror Screen is a technology which mirrors compatible apps from your smartphone and displays them on the touchscreen. It is accessesd via MirrorLink which works with compatible android phones and CarPlay which is compatible with iphone5 and above. Mirror Link will display compatible apps on the touchscreen but it does not offer voice control functionality. Handsfree calls can be made on android phones using Bluetooth. Apple CarPlay does mirror compatible apps but it also features voice control through Siri which allows phone calls, text messages, music and maps to be used without the need to take eyes off the road. Adaptive Cruise Control with Speed limiter Speed limit recognition and intelligent speed adaptation This system allows you to maintain a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front, by changing the speed of your vehicle by up to 12mph. it is not an active braking system. This system works particularly well in moving and relatively heavy traffic. Note: Cost option The multifunction camera* recognises speed limit signs and displays the relevant limit on the instrument panel or in the head up display. The detected speed limit is suggested as the value to be used in your cruise control or speed limiter, if they are activated. Note: Cost option
