... to save you energy. In yarn production... Modern ring spinning machines turn out thousands of metres of yarn every day. INA s compact, very low-friction rolling bearings are at least one way of ensuring that drive energy requirements keep going down. Even though material throughput is constantly on the increase, our components keep running longer. And require less and less maintenance. A good example are INA bottom roller bearings for ring spinners and flyers. These precision needle bearings with their high load carrying capacity and extremely accurate radial and axial runout ensure top quality yarn. Highperformance gap seals also provide very effective protection against dust and fly. Where the emphasis is on economy, you should definitely get to know our low-maintenance, flexibly damped friction spindle bearings for texturing machines. ... in weave production We have already shown how you can save on drive energy requirements with INA bearing arrangements. Now we want to tell you about other types of energy. Pressure, for instance. In needle felting, the compressed surface is subjected to enormous pressures. This places a great strain on the lifting drive mechanism. Time for INA s big guns. Our needle bearings with their perfectly matched cages have an extremely high load carrying capacity, thus ensuring that the connecting rod and crankshaft are securely supported. Nor, of course, are we indifferent to the amount of valuable energy you waste when fitting rolling bearing components. That is why we have developed a full range of complete, ready-to-fit systems which can be simply screw mounted, without the need to spend time and effort matching individual components to each other. INA needle bearings, stud type track rollers and angular contact ball bearings for looms are versatile in application, easy to fit, and have optimum load-bearing capacity. Furthermore, features such as minimal operating clearance and high rigidity are also crucial to economical loom operation. For example, take INA s proven tape tension pulleys for loom gripper drive mechanisms. We have been able to improve the design to reduce the moment of inertia an advantage which not only allows the machine to come up to operating speed more quickly, but which plays an even more important role in continuous operation. This allows energy savings during the alternating rotary motion of the INA tape tension pulleys, which occurs up to 600 times a minute. ... and for simplified finishing Up, down, up, down... The needles in an embroidery machine carry out over 900 movements a minute far beyond the ability of the human eye to follow. Quite a simple motion, isn t it? And yet even here things can be made simpler. In the drive, for example, INA s embroidery head eccentric provides a design solution which completely replaces the gearbox previously required. This simplifies the whole design considerably. The INA solution comprises a lever, cam, connecting rod and the appropriate bearing elements. This component group converts the rotary motion of the drive shaft into the up and down motion described above, and 900 times a minute of course. We have selected the ball and needle bearings accordingly: minimal bearing clearance for smooth running, highly accurate operation, compact design and effective sealing. The ideal prerequisites for speed, precision and long life. We want to ensure that you do not need to keep interrupting the embroidery process to carry out costly maintenance and fitting of bearing components.
