Adapted to the tasks of a combine, the clearly designed armrest is the most important operating element, just like in our tractors. Here you can make all the necessary machine settings. The soft surface of the armrest also provides you with maximum comfort. Ergonomic and comfortable The central control element for the Fendt combine lies securely in the hand. Our multi-function joystick in located in the front area of the Variotronic armrest and contains all the operating elements required for controlling all of the most important areas of the machine during the harvest. The armrest can be adjusted in height and length, so that you can easily find the perfect sitting position. You have the choice: touchscreen or keys Menu navigation in the Varioterminal 7" with colour display is intuitive. That is just what the FreeFlow and PowerFlow tables offer. FreeFlow table Our FreeFlow table is available in working widths from 4.80 m to 7.60 m. It is especially stable and maintenance-friendly because the components are bolted on. With 1,254 cuts per minute, the high speed of the cutterbar ensures a clean cut with a low power requirement. The intake auger, with a diameter of 610 mm, moves the crop swiftly and uniformly to the crop elevator best conditions for maximum area coverage and the best harvesting results. PowerFlow table Our PowerFlow table has been known for maximum productivity for more than 35 years. The big clearance between the cutterbar and the auger facilitates cutting high crops. The PowerFlow belts transport the crop directly under the auger. 20 Threshing and separating 21 Uniform threshing clean separating High-capacity threshing cylinder The high capacity of the threshing cylinder on our L-series is a consequence of its large 600-mm diameter. The result is perfect threshing with a clean sample and less broken grain. The high inertia threshing drum runs very smoothly, even under difficult harvesting conditions. It is very gentle in handling both the grain and straw. ABC (Active Beater Concave) module In der the standard version, the ABC (Active Beater Concave) module, which is an extension of the concave on the beater, really shows its advantages. The module enhances the separation performance and the straw is fed directly and very uniformly onto the straw walkers. The installed power output is fully exploited here. All components are designed for high productivity, low losses and an extremely clean grain sample. Maize gentle threshing We offer a complete conversion kit for threshing maize. It allows you to convert your machine for these operations, quickly and easily. The maize harvesting kit includes, among other things, a special threshing drum and special sieves. This also allows you to achieve the best results in maize. Oilseed rape high output guaranteed Our L-Series is also well-equipped for harvesting oilseed rape. The PowerFlow header does an excellent job of picking up the crop thanks to its extended table. The special rape knives also assist this process. Furthermore, there is also a rape auger directly above the intake auger of the table. This improves the crop flow to the crop elevator and manages to increase the throughput capacity. Rice the special version Since harvesting rice poses very special challenges for a combine, we offer you our own version for this application. To minimise material wear, many components in this version have been strengthened and manufactured of very low-wearing material. We have replaced the bars on the threshing drum with pins to ensure gentle handling of the sensitive grains of rice. For harvesting on very moist ground, our rice models are equipped with crawler tracks. Combined with a high stroke and the active, open back walls, this further boosts separation. You can be sure that even the last grain is separated efficiently. Gentle handling of the crop maintains the structure of the straw optimally. Fine chopped material Our L-Series is standard-equipped with a straw chopper, which delivers clean chopping results. The double serrated knives ensure a clean cut and reduce power consumption. The infinitely adjustable shearbar, an additional pivoting dimple plate and electrically adjustable deflector plates guarantee complete control over the quality and spreading of your chopped material. Easy switchover With only one hand movement, you control if the straw is to be swathed or chopped. The straw is handled gently during the threshing procedure, so you produce the best quality straw for bales, fodder, bedding or energy production. An adjustable dimple plate is standard and ensures a uniform length of the chopped straw. Electrically adjustable deflector plates are also available as an option. 26 Cleaning and grain handling 27 Harvest the best quality Best cleaning the cleanest sample The quality of the grain is decisive. When developing the shaker shoe, the focus was therefore on the use of high-capacity sieves to harvest the cleanest grain. The special surface of the highcapacity sieves (HC sieves) enables optimised wind flow and the highest cleaning performance. To ensure that the crop also remains distributed uniformly when working on slopes, high dividers are attached to the top and bottom sides. The returns system transports the material that has not been optimally threshed back to the threshing cylinder and thus guarantees effective rethreshing. Since the preparation floor and the threshing cylinder have the same width, the maximum cleaning capacity is always being used. Plenty of space for clean grain Thanks to the large grain tank, you can utilise a tight harvesting time window to the utmost. With an 8,600-l capacity, it is designed for high productivity. A centrally positioned filling auger fills the tank very uniformly. Two sensors provide information about the filling level in the grain tank. Moreover, you always have a good view into the tank from the cab. Swift unloading of the grain tank The top unloading system on the L-series permits an unloading height of 4.20 m.
