It features high rail gear built into the work platform, allowing the machine to move on rail at speeds up to 18 miles per hour. Spoilmaster requires an additional hydraulic circuit with case drain, which requires minimal oil flow and pressure. Spoilmaster does not require high cost adaptive hydraulic power units to be added to the machine, and works with standard excavator hydraulics. 135 Year Family Tradition We ve been building custom products nearly as long as the railroads have been around. In the early days it was as simple as repairing wagons, shoeing horses and performing simple blacksmithing tasks in and around the small community of Wamego, Kansas. As times evolved so did machines and so did we. But one thing remained the same - our family tradition of providing the highest quality, best engineered solutions to meet our customers needs. We stand behind what we build and we figure out how to build it better. You will not be disappointed. In the 1990s Dymax had two rail related products. These were the low-railer and rail rollers. The Dymax low-railer received significant design updates and was renamed the T-Railer in 2000. Soon after customers began calling upon Dymax to design better cribbing buckets and thumbs for backhoe loaders and tie handlers for excavator machines. In 2002 Dymax developed the Excavator Tie Handler for one of North America s largest railroads. In 2004 and 2005 Dymax began developing some of the first off-track excavator mounted undercutters in the world. This began a process that has yielded today s Ballast Blaster. In 2009 DymaxRail s Ballast Blaster was introduced. It featured the patent-pending blaster bar with DymaxRail s exclusive ROK GÄARD carbide wear plates and a bi-directional cutting chain system. In 2010 DymaxRail introduced the Ballast Blaster to the world market and models began showing up outside the U.S.A.
