ISO 2858-5199 These two norms are ruling the way to design and build the pumps for chemical application in Europe and all the NON-ANSI world. ISO 2858 points: Designation. Static pressure test parameters. Sizes (Inlet/Outlet/Impeller diameters),. Nominal working conditions (RPM-Flow-Head). pump main overall dimensions. ISO 5199 (108 pages!) main points: Nominal power of motor considering pump absorbed power. One block impeller (closed, semi-open or open type). Shaft dimensions, eccentricity and deflection. Rotating bearings (ball/needle) life 17,500 hours minimum. Hydrostatic test parameters. Forces acting on flanges (resistance of flanges). Vibrations limit.
