Product Description Cutler-Hammer Pringle Switches have helped pioneer development of high quality electrical products for commercial and industrial applications since 1891. Our commitment to engineering excellence and reputation for quality have made us a recognized leader in the electrical industry, and today you'll find our electrical products in use throughout the U.S., Canada and most of the world's major markets. Cutler- Hammer Pringle Bolted Contact Switches were the first in the industry and are a worldwide standard in high-current switching applications. They are custom-built and used in many heavy-duty applications, and are suitable for use in UL 891and CSA C22.2 #31 switchboards. Product Offering: Manually Operated QA Manually operated contact switch with quick-positive switching action. The operating mechanism closes the switch blades and in the same motion actuates the bolting mechanism applying bolted pressure to both the hinge and the jaw contacts. Electrical Trip CBC Contact switch with charge-before-close mechanism. Can be manually or electrically tripped (integrated shunt trip). Optional ground fault, blown fuse detector and phase failure relay with capacitor trip available on CBC or FB only. Ground Fault Protector FP Same as CBC design except with integrated GFP/CT (ground fault protection and control transformer). Electrical Operated - Remote Operation Capability EO Similiar to CBC design except pushbutton operated vs handle, also enables remote access to energize or shut down power to the switch. Bolted Contact Mill Switch PMS Similar to QA type except SIDE operated mechanism with manual override installed in a NEMA 12 enclosure. Operating mechanism and hinged cover mechanically interlocked. 3 pole 480 V AC, 2 pole 250 V DC 800-4000A Available in Non-Fusible or Fusible NEMA 12 Enclosure Defeatable door interlock (for use by trained personnel) Mulitple entry and exit configurations available Options: Auxiliary Contacts Viewing Window Key Interlocking Special Nameplates
