C. CHECKING AFTER INSTALLATION Check that the product is not loose anywhere. Check that all the fasteners are tightened firmly. Check PRE-OPERATIONAL CHECK CARE AND HANDLING Always perform the pre-operational check. Driving with a loose mud flap could cause an accident. Check the mud flaps for looseness and noise. If any abnormality is found, check whether the fasteners are tightened securely. If the cause of the abnormality cannot be found, or if the abnormality cannot be repaired, remove the faulty mud flap. Never drive with a faulty mud flap attached as it could cause a serious accident. Contact an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer. HANDLING PRECAUTIONS As the mud flaps are installed at the bottom of the vehicle, the ground clearance is reduced. If you try to reverse the vehicle with a rear mud flap caught between an obstacle and the rear wheel, the rear bumper may be damaged. CARE To clean the product, wash using a sponge moistened with neutral detergent and wipe water off with a soft shop towel. Do not use an organic solvent such as gasoline or pitch cleaner, as it will damage the printing and the body of the product. -7-
