GENERAL NOTES Situation Upper Outwoods Farm lies close to the A511 on the outskirts of Burton on Trent. From Tutbury pick up the A511 and after 1 ½ miles enter Burton on Trent passing St Modwen Primary School on the left and arrive at the Beacon roundabout. Turn up Outwoods Lane signposted for Anslow and travel up the hill for approximately ½ a mile. The entrance lane to Upper Outwoods Farm lies on the left (opposite No 209). From the centre of Burton on Trent pick up the A511 signposted for Tutbury and Rolleston and continue out of town until reaching the Beacon roundabout. Turn left up Outwoods Road towards Anslow and follow the directions detailed above. To the Sale and Car Park signs will be erected on the morning of the sale. FOREWORD This genuine sale at Upper Outwoods Farm arises as a result of the retirement of Mr John and Mr Bob Hulme who have traded as Hulme & Sons for many decades. The family purchased the farm in 1951 and in recent times have farmed both arable together with Angus cattle on the holding. Locals will know that all the cattle have now left the farm which leaves a genuine retirement dispersal of the arable equipment and grassland items including a superb Claas Combine which was purchased new onto the holding and has seen very careful usage. The Landini tractor together with the mower were both purchased new in addition to the combine detailed above and have been carefully used throughout their time at the farm.
