Emergency Vents - MNPT - 16 oz UL Listed Emergency vent (pressure relief only) used on aboveground storage tanks, as a code requirement, to help prevent the tank from becoming over-pressurized and possibly rupturing if ever exposed to fire. Emergency vents must be used in conjunction with a normal vent. Correct application of this vent requires proper vent size and selection for the tank system in order to meet the specific venting capacity. Code Compliance: API 2000 International Fire Code National Fire Code of Canada NFPA 1, 30, 30A, 31, 37, 110 PEI RP200 & PEI RP800 Underwriters Laboratories Inc. - UL-142, UL-2085 & UL- 2244 Underwriters Laboratories of Canada - CAN/ULC S601-07, CAN/ULC S602-07 & CAN/ULC S652-08 California Air Resource Board (CARB) Phase 1 Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) AST Certified Products (VR-402-B) Fig. 244OM WARNING: DO NOT FILL OR UNLOAD FUEL FROM A STORAGE TANK UNLESS IT IS CERTAIN THAT THE TANK VENTS WILL OPERATE PROPERLY. Emergency vents are designed only for use on shop fabricated atmospheric tanks which have been built and tested in accordance with UL 142, NFPA 30 & 30A, and API 650 and in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. In normal operation, dust and debris can accumulate in vent openings and block air passages. Certain atmospheric conditions such as a sudden drop in temperature, below freezing temperatures, and freezing rain can cause moisture to enter the vent and freeze which can restrict internal movement of vent mechanisms and block air passages. All storage tank vent air passages must be completely free of restriction and all vent mechanisms must have free movement in order to insure proper operation. Any restriction of airfl ow can cause excessive pressure or vacuum to build up in the storage tank, which can result in structural damage to the tank, fuel spillage, property damage, fire, injury, and death. Monthly inspection, and immediate inspection during freezing conditions, by someone familiar with the proper operation of storage tank vents, is required to insure venting devices are functioning properly before filling or unloading a tank.
Leak Gauge - Pop-Up for tanks 96" diameter and smaller Top mounted liquid leak gauge that can measure from 6" to 170" in depth. Gauges are custom made in house to fit your tank. This gauge is designed to monitor either the interstitial space of a double wall containment system, or it can mount into an external monitoring pipe. Calibration: Consists of 3 pieces. Outer plastic piece, inner plastic piece, and a piece of paper in between. Red Lock Nut: HDPE Plastic. This gauge is a simple visual tool. If the red indicator rises into the viewing window, it is indicating that there is a leak occurring in the double wall containment system. Bushing: Aluminum bushing, can be 2 or 1.5. Once installed, simply view the calibration to monitor the interstitial space. The indicator is not calibrated. It simply indicates leak or no leak. Internal Rods: Standard construction is aluminum rods. Additional Options Leak Union: Compression union Audible Alarm Accessory: This feature can turn the mechanical gauge into an audible Hi or Lo level alarm. Gauge Guard: A cover that protects the exposed plastic components on top of the gauge. Environmental Protection The Leak gauge is officially approved for use in double wall containment systems by several state environmental protection agencies. Float: HDPE Plastic

Level Gauge - Swing Arm for tanks 64" diameter and smaller Top mounted liquid level gauge that can measure from 6" to 170 in depth. This gauge is a simple volume reading tool. The top of the red indicator is an indication of approximate fuel level in the tank. Once installed, simply view the calibration to monitor tank level. Indicator is calibrated in eighths of a tank on one side, and quarters of a tank on the other. Calibration: Consists of 3 pieces. Outer plastic piece, inner plastic piece, and a piece of paper in between. Red Lock Nut: HDPE Plastic. Bushing: Aluminum bushing, can be 2 or 1.5. Gauges are custom made in house to fit your tank. Can also accommodate for double walls and pipe risers. HDPE Float: High Density Polyethylene Plastic. Additional Options Audible Alarm Accessory: This feature can turn the mechanical gauge into an audible Hi or Lo level alarm. LED At-A-Glance Accessory: This feature can give mechanical gauge remote reading capability. Gauge Guard: A cover that protects the exposed plastic components on top of the gauge. Internal Rods: Standard construction is galvanized steel rods with brass rivets. These replacement parts are available. Red HDPE Plastic Nut Duro Nitrile Gasket Plastic cellulose acetate inner and outer calibration Aluminum Lock Nut Glass inner calibration

Overfill Prevention Valve The overfill prevention valve is installed at the fill port of a storage tank. Used in a pressurized tight fill application, the valve helps prevent tank overfills by closing when the liquid level reaches a pre-set warning level (90-95% full). The valve is installed through a 4" or 6" threaded opening and has a built-in bleed hole that allows the fill hose pressure to be relieved after the valve closes. This bleed hole also provides anti-siphon protection for the valve. When installed to manufacturer requirements, the overfill prevention valve can eliminate hazardous liquid spills. The valve can be used in conjunction with AST spill containers or remote fill boxes for added spill protection. All models are supplied with an adaptor to mount an aluminum drop tube. A test mechanism is also sold separately if needed. The test mechanism allows a technician to pull on the test line at any time during the filling process to actuate the float and stop the filling process. This allows a technician to verify the valve is working properly. Features The 3" valve can be used with 6" Sch. 40 or 80 pipe. The 2" valves can only be used with 4" Sch. 40 pipe. Construction Details Anodized aluminum body Brass/stainless steel internal components Stainless steel linkage Failure to follow any or all of the warnings listed below may render the valve non-functional and could result in an accidental product spill, property damage, fire, explosion, injury or death. Warnings and Cautions 5 PSI & 5 GPM is the minimum flow requirement for valve operation. Valve will NOT function in gravity fill applications. Maximum viscosities (in centistokes): 2" Valve-150, 3" Valve-60. Flow rate of the 2" valve is 350 GPM maximum flow (183 GPM @ 10 PSI pressure drop). The 3" valve is 800 GPM maximum flow rate (566 GPM @ 10 PSI pressure drop). Once closed the valve will allow fl ow of less than 2% of max fl ow rate to relieve fill line pressure. A tight fill is required for the valve to operate. Do not substitute any other fill adaptors for the special adaptor supplied. The valve must be used with clean product. Debris from products such as contaminated used oil may cause the valve to function improperly. These valves are rated for a maximum pressure of 100 PSI. Not suitable for motor oil or other heavy oils. Consult Morrison Bros. Co. for product compatibility with the valve. Code Compliance ULC, NFPA 30, 30A, UFC, IFC and PEI /RP200, PEI /RP600, Florida DEP EQ356, CARB VR 402A
Drop Tube & Normal (Mushroom) Vent with Pipe The drop tube directs product flow to liquid level when filling a storage tank. The drop tube prevents free fill and reduces agitation of liquid when filling. The flanges fits between tight fill adaptor riser pipe. The tube extends to near bottom for submerged fill. All drop tubes are extruded aluminum. The 2 and 3 drop tubes can also be attached to the AST Overfill Prevention Valve. Drop tube length determined by tank diameter. Mushroom style free flow vent Stainless-steel mesh screen. Domed vent top prevents tank contamination from entering vent lines. NPT threads Cast iron, zinc plated 2" diameter galvanized steel vent pipe Length determined by tank volume/size
