Dear Customer, Thank you for installing the new IDC4 BIKE version 17. Many brands and models have been updated. Among these we want to mention the introduction of: APRILIA: inserted new engine codes for models Scarabeo 125 and 200; BMW: extended BMW database further. We particularly want to stress the work done with regard to the development of CIP special adjustments with which it is now possible to reconfigure the fuel sensor and configure the installation of new optionals such as heated grips; DUCATI: diagnosis added for model DIAVEL with functions: - DESMO SERVICE OIL SERVICE LIGHT RESET - KEY PROGRAMMING (only with the use of new generation tools TXT-TXB-DIRECT/SMART) - OIL SERVICE LIGHT RESET Always on DIAVEL model it is possible to perform a global scan of errors and diagnose the instrument panel system, hands free system, ABS system and BBS control unit. With regard to Streetfighter 848 model it will be possible to adjust the maintenance system in addition to the diagnosis of fuel injection system and traction control. Added the new brand KASINSKI with the engine diagnosis for models Mirage 250 FI and Mirage 650 FI; MV AGUSTA: added the new models Brutale 1090 R, Brutale 675, Brutale 920, F3 675, F3 975 ORO and F4 R 12. On this bikes it is now possible to intervene on the engine diagnosis. These new diagnoses will require the new cable code 3904267 auto diagnostic interface cable MV AGUSTA (3151/AP34); PIAGGIO: added new engine codes for model Beverly 350; SYM: added engine diagnosis for model SB 250 NI; : updated the database with the introduction of new models. The new features do not regard diagnosis contents only, but also the functions offered by IDC4 software. Moreover, only for AXONE 4, TEXA has released a new exclusive software version, implemented by innovative diagnostic solutions and a new icon sequence that will help you selecting the desired systems and functions. NEW GRAPHIC INTERFACE AXONE 4 changes its graphic design offering a new menu that makes the tool navigation even more simple and intuitive. At the same time the newly added software functions will help you have your work under control! Let s find out all the new features that make AXONE 4 a unique and revolutionary tool in the global diagnosis world! DIAGNOSIS MENU Inside this menu you will be able to access to diagnosis functions and SOLVED PROBLEMS function powered by Google. MEASUREMENTS MENU This menu lists all the functions that IDC4 software offers for the use of TEXA tools dedicated to the analysis of exhaust gas (GASBOX and OPABOX) and to measurements (UNIProbe and TwinProbe). Signal generator: by configuring the new measurement tool TwinProbe in IDC4, you may perform the new function SIGNAL GENERATOR. This operation requires the use of the optional cable kit that enables the generation of two PWM square waves types: the first is a square wave with a limited current and a 0-5V value, usable for example in the simulation of the vehicle s sensors; the second, able to supply up to 5A, can pilot the vehicle s actuators directly. A feature that makes AXONE 4 an exceptional tool is the option of using the software functions during the diagnosis session: Oscilloscope Signal generator This mode allows to control the diagnosis page simultaneously and, optionally, the oscilloscope page (with the display of the wave shapes that you want to measure) or the one of signal generation (with the data display of the generated PMW signal), with the advantage of having a real-time counterproof of the operation. DATA MENU In this page you will find all the technical information that the tool provides such as wiring diagrams, mechanical data and besides by clicking directly on EDU icon you will be able to navigate the site dedicated to the courses that TEXA offers in its training centres (internet connection required). SETTINGS MENU Through this menu you have access to the service programs that allow you to access to the applications dedicated to customer profiling, to the settings for the configuration and consultation of documents such as IDC4 software manual or the vehicles coverage of the diagnosis software, and to the version release notes. But this version s new features are not over yet! AXONE 4, the always-connected device! A new software function has been implemented that enables the tool to be always connected if the workshop is provided with a Wi-Fi network, allowing to make the most of the services that TEXA offers, such as for example the software update and the use of SOLVED PROBLEMS function powered by Google. A new technology for downloading updates has been adopted. This allows subscribing customers to have faster downloads for intermediate update versions. The software s ease-of-use has been improved. The access password to the settings menu has been removed. The device firmware update function is automated. This new procedure allows saving some precious time by carrying out the function independently whenever this becomes necessary. As always, IDC4 constantly adds to its database by inserting new information and wiring diagrams version after version, all with the aim of helping you in the cases where reading available information by connecting the diagnosis tool to the bike is not enough to solve the problem. You can browse through all these new features via the DOCUMENTATION menu in the IDC4 software.
