In 1969 the muscle car wars were in full swing, with GM, Ford and Chrysler each developing their own big-block powered performance cars. Not to be outdone, Chevrolet's Central Office Production Order (COPO) system produced a limited run of Camaros with the now infamous ZL-1 all-aluminum big-block engine, and just two very rare ZL-1 factory-built Corvettes. Now in the spirit of those awesome ZL-1 Corvettes, Specialty Vehicle Engineering introduces the 2017 Yenko/SC TM Corvette. For over 25 years, we ve been a Second Stage manufacturer for GM cars and trucks, and have built over 55,000+ specialty vehicles. Only 50 of these Limited Edition Yenko Corvette Specialty Vehicles will be built and with an 800 horsepower supercharged 416 C.I.D. LT-1 powerplant, they ll go fast...literally!

of the 2017 Yenko/SC Corvette is Specialty TM Vehicle Engineering s Supercharged, custom-built 416 C.I.D. (6.8L) LT-1 Engine*. 2017 Yenko/SC Corvette is available in coupe or convertible models with either manual or automatic transmissions, just like many of the early Corvettes were equipped. TM We based it off the Grand Sport model that includes all of the great handling, appearance, and body components featured on the Z06, to properly balance the awesome power of the 800 horsepower supercharged engine features that include Brembo brakes with 14 rotors and 6-piston calipers in front, and 13.4 rotors with 4-piston calipers in the rear; magnetic ride control; performance calibrated stabilizer bars; limited-slip differential; dry sump oil system, 7-speed manual transmission with active rev match; available 8-speed paddle-shift automatic with specific performance calibration, wider rear fenders, plus many more Z06 performance components. The YENKO logo is diplayed on the front fender vents and the YENKO crest on the rear fascia (shown at right). An optional Ground Effects Package is available that offers the same aggressive Z06-style front splitter and side rockers. Painted in Carbon Flash Metallic finish to match the rear diffuser and optional Z06 spoiler. The 2017 Yenko/SCTM Corvette comes standard with the rear diffuser painted in Carbon Flash Metallic finish, four diffuser fins, a cast aluminum quad exhaust tip with brushed aluminum face, and an integrated Yenko nameplate.

An optional paint scheme is available as shown for the rear diffuser with the top half painted body color and the lower half left in the factory Carbon Flash Metallic finish.
