Spacial SDC Characteristics The Spacial SDC steel enclosure universal offer Enclosure with plain door. Structured finish, epoxy-polyester powder, RAL 705 gray color. See the Selection Guide on page /14. Technical characteristics Enclosure body -point lock enclosure. One action point enclosure. Single-piece body (cross-shaped structure). Gutter-shaped front profile with double fold. Flat rear. 4 (or 6**) M8 25 shouldered backstuds for installing mounting plates and step slides, leaving a space of 10 mm (0.4 in) behind them. M6 16 grounding studs for equipotential connection between the door and the body of the enclosure. Four direct wall-mounting drill holes [ 10 mm (0.4 in)] are sealed with plugs to maintain the degree of protection. Or mount with lugs installed from the outside (lugs ordered separately, see page /20). Enclosure door Welded studs for the ground connection. Wall-mounting enclosure supplied with screwdriver insert lock as standard. Polyurethane door gasket. M6 16 grounding studs for equipotential connection between the door and the body of the enclosure. Easily removable and reversible, with 20-mm (0.8 in) return with double thickness for excellent rigidity, opening to 120, equipped with 2 or invisible hinges*. For heights from 600 mm (2.6 in), three locking points with linkage, with a single control point. Simple reversal of linkage. Maximum load: 50 kg/m 2. Perforated rails on the door, with pre-drilled holes with a diameter of 4.2 mm (0.2 in) in steps of 25 mm (1.0 in): 2 vertical rails from the height of 400 mm (15.7 in), 2 vertical rails and 2 horizontal rails from the width of 800 mm (1.5 in). * From the height of 800 mm (1.5 in). ** Widths of 1000 and 1200 mm (9.4 and 47.2 in). Standards Screwdriver lock (coin protected). Compliance with enclosure standards IEC 62208, UL 508A. Environmental testing to UL 50E. Spacial SDC Characteristics Our empty enclosures are marked CE according to the Low-Voltage Directive (LVD). It is the responsibility of the final equipment manufacturer to respect the regulations in force. Technical characteristics Protection degree IP66 for the single-door enclosures and IP55 for the double-door enclosures, according to IEC 60529. UL/NEMA rated 4, 4X for the single-door enclosures and 12, 12K, 1 for the double-door enclosures according to UL 50E and NEMA 250. Resistance to external mechanical impacts IK10 for the plain-door enclosures, according to IEC 62262. IK08 for the glazed-door enclosures. Mechanical characteristics Attachment of mounting hardware 4 (or 6**) M8 25 shouldered backstuds for installing mounting plates and step slides, leaving a space of 10 mm (0.4 in) behind them. ** 6 studs for widths 1000 and 1200 mm (9.4 and 47.2 in). Personnel protection Ground connection: Spacial SDC steel enclosures are equipped with M6 16 grounding studs welded in the body and the door for equipotential connection. Grounding braid ordered separately (see page 8/100). Closing the enclosure: enclosures of 600 mm (2.6 in) and higher are equipped with three linked locking points, with a single control point, preventing the enclosures from being left ajar. For locks and inserts see page /26. Coating properties Color: RAL 705 gray; finish: structured. Coating thickness: 60 μm. Fire class: M0. Resistance to corrosion: compliance with standard IEC 62208 for outdoor installation: 288 h of humid heat and 6 h of salt mist. Note: the Spacial SDC is specially designed for indoor installations. For outdoor installations, it is advisable to install a canopy or contact us. Spacial SDC Protection EMC protection Standard Spacial SDC enclosures are tested against electromagnetic disruptions. Since the enclosure is tested empty, it is advisable to rerun the tests with the enclosure equipped in its final configuration. Grounding braids ordered separately, see page 8/100. The rear is flat without added parts, allowing it to comply with specific vibration constraints. The tests were conducted according to the "rules for ships" by "Det Norske Veritas." Enclosures labelled "DNV" have undergone these tests and obtained classification "A." Since the enclosure is tested empty, it is advisable to rerun the tests with the enclosure equipped in its final configuration. ATEX compliance The Spacial SDC enclosure (with adaptation) is certified ATEX by the LCIE. Environmental consideration Compliance with RoHS standard. /12
