Multiflo CF diesel pumps cost effective pumping solutions From the market leader in dewatering pumps comes the Multiflo CF range of self priming diesel driven pumps. A cost effective pump solution built rugged for any condition, which is what Weir Minerals Multiflo is known for. More than 35 years of dewatering experience makes Multiflo pumps the best choice for dewatering applications. Multiflo pump units were first produced in 1976, designed and manufactured to provide purpose built solutions to reliably and efficiently manage mine dewatering. 1 The diesel driven, vacuum primed Multiflo CF range of pump units are built for general pumping applications. The Multiflo CF pump units have been designed and built to reduce costs and manufacturing lead times while maintaining a high quality standard, typical of the Multiflo product. 2 3 1: Multiflo CF43H Pump Unit in operation at a NSW mine 2: The Multiflo CF 48H operating at a Western Australia mine site 3: The Multiflo CF range is able to be trailer mounted for ease of transport around site The diesel driven, self priming Multiflo CF range are available with a standard set of addonoptions to provide a cost effective pump solution, available within rapid delivery times. Cost effective pump units Attention to detail while maintaining a level of simplicity is evident across the entire range of the CF series pump units and is crucial in ensuring the units not only meet the design standards typical of Weir Minerals Multiflo but also makes them user friendly to operate and maintain. Easy to operate, designed with ease of use and maintenance The CF range is the Weir Minerals Multiflo cost effective pumping solution. Our automatic vacuum priming design simplifies the operation providing effective pump priming, each time every time! CF pump standard features: CAT control box for simple operation Caterpillar diesel engine for proven performance and reliability as standard Internal baffling supporting deck mounts to provide strength and durability 1: HydrauFlo fuel filling blue valve HF1105Z0003 TwoPack epoxy paint to handle the hardest conditions Close coupled pump assembly to reduce size and weight increasing portability Automatic vacuum prime to provide trouble free pump operation by the automatic leveling float system. Low flow shutdown HydrauFlo safety refueling valves Stainless steel wetted parts CF pump benefits: Short lead time availability Compact design Mechanical automatic priming system Centre lift point Simple to operate Cost effective 2: CF43H Pump Unit 2 WMM CF 2013 WIP.indd 2 26/08/2013 1:46:52 PM
Priming system Priming a pump unit can be the most frustrating process for an operator. The mechanical priming system automatically takes control of priming the pump. Mechanical Priming System When the CF pump unit is started, the priming system will quickly and efficiently lift the water up into the priming tank and the pump will then be primed. The level of the water in the priming tank is controlled by a Ball Float system, ensuring the system remains primed at all times. CF priming system features: Highly reliable priming Easy to maintain with no scaling, wear, or plugging as seen in a venturi priming system which can degrade or fail to prime Highly efficient vacuum priming vs inefficient air priming Maximum suction lift 1: Ball float priming system engineered to ensure consistent priming of the system Stainless steel construction No adjustment required, ensuring a longer servicefree life by replacing the high maintenance mechanical parts used in older style priming systems No priming exhaust emissions with the vacuum prime system as no compressor is required to prime the pump unit. Automatic Vacuum Priming System Fitted with nonreturn valve on pump discharge, and does not require a foot valve for priming. 2: Cutaway of the engineered ball float system. 3 WMM CF 2013 WIP.indd 3 26/08/2013 1:46:52 PM
First class construction No short cuts on construction. The CF range of auto vacuum primed, diesel driven pump units have been designed and built to simplify both the operation and maintenance of the unit. We have engineered the units with a close coupled drive ensuring that you have correct alignment each and every time. The CF pump range uses a close coupled drive design. This arrangement allows for a shorter, lighter pump unit and minimises shaft alignment issues that are often encountered with other drive arrangements. Coupling the pump to the engine is now a simple process. Correct alignment every time Less downtime during pump assembly Engineered for reliable service life Simple assembly 4 WMM CF 2013 WIP.indd 4 26/08/2013 1:46:59 PM
