This investigation was authorized by Mr. Paul Erdek using signed quote Q500499876. The testing began on 1/3/2014 and will be completed on 2/10/2014. A sample in good condition was provided by TSI Supercool and was received on January 2nd, 2014. The recommended dye concentration was stated to be ¼ Oz per 8 Oz of lubricant. The lubricants used for the test mixture were as follows: 1/3 4GS Mineral Oil, 1/3 CAR Quest PAG 46 and 1/3 NL POE 68. The sample was assigned the unique identification number COL1401021202-001 and tested at Intertek s facility at 1717 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, OH 43228, USA. CONCLUSION: This report concludes the evaluation of Leak Dye #22816. Based on this evaluation of Leak Dye #22816 submitted by TSI Supercool PASS the acceptance Criteria of SAE J2297 (Feb2011) Ultraviolet Leak Detection: Stability and Compatibility Criteria of Fluorescent Refrigerant Leak Detection Dyes for Mobile R-134a and R-1234yf (HFO-1234yf) Air-Conditioning Systems. Clause 7.4.2 Following the aging process for 14 days and 175 C, for R134A, metals in the sealed tubes containing double the recommended concentration of dye did show evidence of darkening and slight copper plating but no increase was seen compared to control samples and therefore PASS the requirement. For 1234yf, metals in the sealed tubes containing double the recommended concentration of dye were untarnished, with no evidence of copper plating or corrosion. Metals in the control tubes containing neat lubricant also were untarnished with no evidence of copper plating or corrosion. Using Rank Order Analysis, test samples showed no increase in corrosion or copper plating compare to control samples and therefore PASS the requirement. Clause 7.4.3 Following the aging process for 14 days and 175 C for R134a, the liquid in the sealed tubes containing double the recommended concentration of dye was cloudy and had evidence of precipitate or insoluble material but not increase was seen compared to control samples and therefore PASS the requirement. For 1234yf, the liquid in the sealed tubes containing double the recommended concentration of dye were clear with no evidence of precipitate or insoluble material. Liquid in the control tubes containing neat lubricant were also clear with no evidence of precipitate or insoluble material. Using Rank Order Analysis, test samples showed no increase in precipitate or insoluble material compare to control samples and therefore PASS the requirement. Page 3 of 13

Section 8- Fluorescence Testing: Clause 8.7 Following the aging process for 14 days at 175 C, the liquid in the sealed tubes containing double the recommended concentration of dye exhibited a visual intensity equal to the un-aged tubes prepared with the recommended dosage of dye when exposed to identical incident UV irradiation and ambient lighting and temperature condition and therefore PASS the requirement. Clause 9.8.1 Following the aging process for 30 days at 150 C, the non-metallic elastomers in the 2X recommended dye concentration tubes did not increase in hardness when compared those contained in the Neat control samples using Rank Order Analysis, and therefore PASS the requirement. Clause 9.8.2 Following the aging process for 30 days at 150 C, the liquid aged along with the non-metallic elastomers in the 2X recommended dye concentration tubes did not increase in particles, precipitates or insolubles when compared those contained in the Neat control samples using Rank Order Analysis, and therefore PASS the requirement.
