DG Auxiliary Panel described as above & complete as Set 1 Surge Protection Device shall be provided with all Incomer of DG Panel, PLC Panel, DG Aux. Panel as detailed below: The Surge Protection Device for LT Panel shall be based on Single Arc Spark Gap technology and shall be able to withstand lighting surge current of 50 KA (between Line/s & Neutral) and 100 KA (between Neutral & Earth) of a 10/350 µs waveform with a maximum protection level of 0.9 KV between Line/s to Neutral. The mounting shall be on 35 mm DIN rail. The wiring shall be as per TT configuration. The short circuit current withstand capacity of device connected between Line/s to Neutral shall be minimum of 50 KA at 440 V rated voltage. The SPD shall confirm to IEC 61643-1 test standard.
