Perfect, however, first and foremost means that which is tailored precisely to the requirement at hand. This concept is reflected to a high degree in the highlights from Tridonic. The new 79 mm compact driver and SLE modules form a perfectly coordinated bundle in which three drivers cover the entire lumen bandwidth of one module. A perfected, calibrated complete offer comprising modules, drivers and synchronised controllers opens up new dimensions for Tunable White applications. New module lengths, photometrical covers and modules with integrated driver enhance the product range for linear luminaires to form a portfolio of products that work perfectly together, covering all lengths. The innovative airgap technology of the LLE FLEX IP67 modules combines a high IP rating with absolutely constant colour temperature for the first time. Tridonic is even going one step further globally, expanding its offer for the North American market to include new universal input voltage drivers as well as the outdoor segment. Homogeneous linear illumination Module LLE G4 and LLE AC with ACL LINEAR LENS Easy modernisation including selectable lighting distribution LLE modules have been designed for homogeneous and highly efficient linear luminaires. The fourth generation of linear modules has been expanded to include three further lengths. The first generation of the LLE AC with its new, high lumen package is now the ideal solution for easily retrofitting 1 and 2-lamp T5/T8 luminaires. Furthermore, lenses made from robust PMMA enhance the LLE 24 and LLE 55 mm modules to form complete solutions that make precise light distribution easier than ever before. Asymmetrically (ASY) and double asymmetrically (DASY) photometrical distributed lenses for shelf and corridor illumination are available. For LLE 24 modules, the batwing lens ensures homogeneous light distribution. Intense enables the targeted lighting distribution even from great heights. The additional shutter for the 55 mm covers reduces the glare for norm compliant office lighting. 5

Second generation Tunable White (TW) Calibrated Engine TW: LLE or QLE G2 and Driver DT8 PRE Innovative series for diverse applications in Office and Education lighting In the second generation, Tridonic has perfected the Tunable White technology, creating a harmonious complete solution comprising modules, drivers and controllers from a single source. With the right colour temperature and illuminance, people feel good, even under artificial light. The Tunable White lighting solution now replicates the entire spectrum between 2,700 and 6,500 K, remains within the selected colour temperature range even in the dimming range, and adapts to individual requirements, moods and production stages. In this way, providing the right light in hospitals improves the well-being of patients, for example. In offices and universities, the right colour temperature and intensity promotes concentration, thereby creating a productive environment. 2700 K )(/&%$ "! max. CCT min. CCT colourswitch-mode The colour temperature can be set to any value. The colourswitch mode enables the light colour to be selected specifically for the application. This is useful particularly in the retail sector as it allows the merchandise to be presented in the most appropriate light. The system can also be dimmed between 100 and 3% without any shift in colour temperature. The system is precalibrated at the factory and can be used immediately without any further adjustment. 6500 K 6

LED 2,700 K LED 6,500 K Calibrated Engine Tunable White The 2-channel modules optimally cover the colour spectrum from 2,700 to 6,500 K, while the drivers maintain the selected colour temperature range even in dimming operation. The different light colours are generated using cool-white and warm-white LEDs, each with two terminals available. Thanks to the newly developed intelligence in the DT8 driver, all module and driver tolerances can be eliminated during calibration. This results in precise colour temperature locations even in dimming operation. The second generation also impresses with an expanded dimming range up to 3 percent and excellent colour rendering of CRI > 90. 3% 3,500 K 100% Constant color temp. during dimming The engine Tunable White system has been pre-calibrated ex works and is offered in kits comprising an LED Driver and two to six LED modules. The Tunable White modules are also available separately. With the PREMIUM category drivers, the Tunable White solution can be controlled via DT8 using a push button or touch panel. The new, advanced technology enables extremely quiet operation. Further benefits include the very high efficiency of up to 90 percent and the significantly expanded dimming range. Office and Education New products At a glance: Module QLE G2 ADV-SE Higher protected thanks to Leadframe LED-Packages Increase in efficacy up to 170 lm/w Improved homogeneity New: Module QLE G2 ADV-SE Perfect protection and easy installation Thanks to their leadframe LED packages, second-generation QLE ADVANCED SE modules are more robust. With the additional 4.3 Accessory Clip, installation can also be carried out in next to no time. In operation, the modules offer an impressive increase in efficacy of up to 170 lm/w at 45 C as well as improved light homogeneity. This is all down to the optimised QLE G2 ADVANCED-SE module size of 520 x 246 mm and the higher number of lumen packages. At a glance: Module ELA G1 SNC Luminous flux of 2,800 and 3,800 lm Invisible LED spots UGR 19 New: Module ELA G1 SNC Edge-lit panel for homogeneous illumination The new ELA ESSENCE module, a flat, ready-to-install LED panel, fulfils all requirements to fit wall-mounted or decorative area lighting luminaires. It can also be mounted directly into the ceiling and blends into its environment seamlessly, even in the case of low installation heights. Light guide, diffusor and LEDs form a compact, perfectly harmonised unit that impresses with its glare-free, highly uniform light. Furthermore, the accessory also enables intuitive and easy handling. At a glance: Driver Linear 2-channel DT6 Low Profile (lp) PRE One driver for direct and indirect illumination Enables Tunable White systems New: Driver 50 W 2xCH lp PRE 2-channel driver for direct/indirect luminaires The two separate channels in one driver are ideal for the efficient operation of pendant and free-standing luminaires with direct/ indirect light or for simple Tunable White applications. The output currents can be variably adjusted for each channel via I-SELECT 2 plugs or DALI. Pre-defined dimming scenes can also be selected with proportionswitch. This high degree of flexibility is reflected in the one4all interface, which covers both DALI DT6 and DSI, switch- DIM and corridorfunction V2. New: Driver 100 W 4xCH lp PRE 8

Retail and Hospitality New products At a glance: Engine DLA G2 ADV/SNC Sizes: 100, 150, 200 mm Luminous flux: 1,000 / 2,000 / 2,700 lm UGR < 19 option available for office lighting in compliance with standards The tried-and-tested downlight module with new areas of application Thanks for integrated electronics and heat sink, DLA modules are ideal for direct installation in the ceiling. The second generation, with an additional 200 mm ceiling cut-out and new features, expands the product group s area of application. The 6 and 8 inch sizes will now available with UGR < 19. They offer a convenient option of modernising conventional CFL downlights quickly and easily. With new, pre-mounted spring clips, installation can be carried out with ease. Separated driver with a quick connection with the body enables reduction of your stock complexity. A mounting ring or reflector is also available as an option. Since the entire product group is compatible with the EM converterled 50 V, the emergency lighting can also be implemented with DLA G2. The new module also comes with the benefits of the DLE G4 modules such as excellent colour rendering of CRI > 80 and the colour temperature of 3,000 and 4,000 Kelvin. All modules are available as a raw PCB board or housing version with special diffuser technology and can be operated with dimmable or non-dimmable drivers. At a glance: Module LLE FLEX G1 IP67 EXC No colour drift in protection class IP67 thanks to airgap Adapted accessory for mounting and installation 3M tape for easy mounting New: Module LLE FLEX G1 IP67 EXC Robust continuous lighting strip with constant colour temperature The IP67 degree of protection makes the flexible lighting strip resistant to water and dust. It is therefore ideal for use in bathroom lighting, for example. With the innovative airgap manufacturing process, Tridonic has completely eliminated the usual colour coordinate shift at higher IP protection. In this way, the LLE FLEX EXCITE IP67 can be optimally combined with continuous lighting strips with lower IP rating. The result is a uniformly constant colour temperature. 9

Its fully encapsulated housing impresses with its slim design, which can be optimally combined with LLE FLEX modules. Thanks to the broad input current range of 120 to 277 volts, the driver can also be used globally. At a glance: Driver Linear 48 V DC-String Low Profile (lp) UNV Efficiency up to 94% System solution with low ripple value ± 2% Compatible with all DC-String components Constant voltage driver for the US market New: Driver DC-STR lp UNV Innovative track lighting for free design Up to now, the size and design of a track spotlight were dependent to a large extent on the dimensions of the LED Drivers. Large trackboxes greatly restricted the design possibilities as well as miniaturisation of the luminaires. With the 48 V DC-String, Tridonic has revolutionised track lighting. By physically separating the AC/DC driver and DC/DC board, the innovative lighting solution completely does away with cumbersome trackboxes. In this way, spotlights can achieve optimum light as well as an aesthetic and free design. Furthermore, with a low constant voltage of 48 volts, the track allows the hot plug luminaires to be replaced safely and effortlessly. Universal input voltage outdoor New products Tridonic expands its portfolio for the North American market To fully meet the requirements of the US market, Tridonic now also offers a specially developed outdoor portfolio in addition to its existing indoor portfolio, featuring low profile and compact as well as special constant current drivers. Each LED Driver can be operated with universal input voltage in the range of 120 to 277 volts. The tried-and-tested Tridonic values, such as special protection against high temperatures (Tc value = 85 C) or overvoltage up to 4 kv were also complied with here. Additionally, a large range of wattages are available. The low flicker value < 5 percent guarantees a high quality of light. In the event of a lightning strike, for example, the SPD may be damaged, but the lighting remains functional. The optional surge protection device can be mounted on the LED Driver either in the housing. 11

Controls and Connectivity New products basicdim Wireless The intuitive shift towards wireless luminaire communication The wireless lighting control system combines easy commissioning with intuitive handling, whilst helping to reduce costs. Since no DALI lines are required, the installation and modernisation costs are effectively reduced. The lighting scenes and profiles can be selected via the APP. The lighting control system can also be operated via an APP, which perfectly complements the modules and drivers from Tridonic. This means switching on and off, dimming, saving lighting scenes and setting colour temperatures can be carried out with ease. The glass display has six keys that can be individually assigned. The DALI TOUCHPANEL BASIC can control up to 16 diffrent groups and recall up to 16 diffrent scenes. Thanks to the DALI connection, commissioning can also take place easily and quickly. Rotary selector switch on the back At a glance: Sensor smartswitch HF New: Sensor smartswitch HF Compact sensor with HF technology Bright-out function Two housing options (mounting) Space saving and fully integratable The extremely small presence detector and light sensor is equipped with radar technology and can therefore completely disappear in the luminaire. The adjustable detection area has been expanded up to 7 metres. The sensors are particularly space saving when used in combination with modules such as CLE G3 ADVANCED from Tridonic, which already offer the matching cut-out in the module. At a glance: Sensor MSensor v2 10DPI 23f and ACU Sensor Housing 23rs IP65 ACU Sensor Housing 23rs IP20* New: Sensor MSensor v2 For rooms with a height of 5 to 10 m Developed for the latest specification of the DALI standard Robustness and smart control Tridonic is enriching its portfolio to include the MSensor, which is particularly impressive in challenging environments. Thanks to IP65, the multisensor with PIR technology is both dust-tight and protected against water jets. The compact design can be fully integrated into a luminaire, which is ideally mounted at a height of five to ten metres. Here, the sensor is equally well suited to stand-alone solutions and complete systems. Commissioning is carried out wirelessly via RF interface with a light controller. Tridonic systems in use Havenhuis, Antwerp Flexible LED technology for tailor-made strip lights For the new administrative offices of the Antwerp Port Authority, Zaha Hadid Architects created an expressive building structure with a faceted facade on a listed, former fire station. Ceiling-integrated lighting responds to the absence of right angles in both a creative and precise way. At the heart of the special technical lighting solution are LED light engines and LED Drivers from Tridonic. Belgian company Multiline has developed a special solution here. The lighting manufacturer equipped the tailor-made light profiles with the Tridonic LLE G3 24 mm module and corresponding LED Drivers. The linear LLE LED light engines are available in lengths of 140, 280 and 560 mm. They were easily combined according to the different profile lengths and even enabled further technology to be flexibly integrated, such as smoke detectors. Presence detectors and ambient light sensors ensure that the light in the Havenhuis is controlled and operated to suit demand at all times. Both types of sensor communicate via DALI with the LED Drivers, which Tridonic supplies to match its LED light engines. In the Antwerp Havenhuis, LCAI 35 W and LCAI 65 W are used.
