Machine layout and optional equipment Supporting Frame Towed Machine Hydraulics Kit LS Electronics Kit Fixed wheel Axle In its basic configuration the Cameleon has a three-point hitch; the machine is mounted on the tractor s three-point hitch at the front or rear of the tractor. This module is added to the Supporting Frame. In this configuration the machine is towed behind the tractor. The Cameleon has a drawbar for hitching to the tractor s hitch and a wheel frame at the rear to support its weight and allow for adjustments in height. This item of equipment consist of an electronically controlled hydraulic block which controls all movements. The machine is connected to the tractor by a pressure hose and a return hose. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Electronics Kit. The hydraulic block can be equipped with LS (load sensing system). The machine then controls the pump on the tractor and draws oil as needed (tractor has to have LS as well). When LS is ordered, this is not connected up to the hydraulic block; the machine has one hose fitted for pressure and one for oil flow return. On delivery, the hose for LS comes ready-routed and a plug for LS comes supplied ready for fitting by the customer. This is because the system has to be checked together with the tractor which is to be used. This item of equipment consists of a computer unit fitted to the machine plus a monitor which should be located in the tractor cab. The monitor is connected to the computer unit on the machine and controls the machine s functions. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Hydraulics Kit. The rear wheels are fixed. There are two types of wheels available, wide wheel 650/45-22.5 and row crop wheel 340/85R24. Row crop wheels are designed to give a tramline spacing of 1750mm (centre-to-centre distance between wheels). A machine equipped with fixed wheel Axle needs a coupling system adapted for 3000kg. At delivery a trailer ring is mounted at the drawbar.
Machine layout and optional equipment Steering Wheel Axle The rear wheels are automatically steered behind the machine, in order to straighten out lines and make the following hoeing easier. The wheel axle can also be steered manually from the tractor cab. The wheel steering can not be used during transport of the machine. There are two types of wheels available, wide wheel 800/45-26,5 and row crop wheel 380/85R30. Row crop wheels are designed to give a tramline spacing of 1750 mm or 2250mm (centre-to-centre distance between wheels). This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Hydraulics Kit and Electronics Kit. A machine equipped with Steering Wheel Axle needs a Ball & Spoon Coupling System adapted for 3000kg. At delivery a K 80 Spoon Coupling is mounted at the drawbar, the Ball Coupling have to be ordered from the tractor supplier. The 4 meters frame is not foldable while the 6 and 8 meters wide frames are foldable. The machine is 3,8 meters wide when folded. The depth is adjusted centrally and adjust all the s at the same time. Following Harrow Bout Marker is the term given to the part of the machine which holds the working implement, e.g. seed coulter, hoeing device, etc. The consists of a frame attachment, two parallel arms, a wheel and the attachment for the working implement itself. The Cameleon has a variable number of carriers depending on its working width and the spacing set between the carriers. Normally four carriers are used per meter of working width. s can be adjusted sideways, allowing the machine to be easily customised to the requirements of different customers. Item of equipment for fitting at the rear on the frame to, for instance, level out the soil in the wake of seed coulters or to rip up weeds after the hoeing cutters. Item of equipment for making a tramline that the driver/operator can follow. A pair of markers will be mounted on the machine. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Hydraulics Kit and Electronics Kit.
Row tracking layout and optional equipment Row Tracking Kit Straw divider the Item of equipment in order for the machine to perform inter-row hoeing, etc. Consists of a hydraulic kit for lateral adjustment and a camera for automatic row tracking. The camera is connected to the hydraulic system by the machine s computer, thereby making lateral adjustments to the machine. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Hydraulics Kit and Electronics Kit. Item of equipment for row tracking in a high or dense crop. Sowing module layout and optional equipment Seed Feed Kit This item of equipment consists of a Hopper, the Seed Feed, the Seed Feed Drive, a Fan for conveying seed to seed coulters, and a Platform. The Hopper has a volume of around 3000 litres. This item of equipment requires that the machine is a Towed machine and fitted with the Hydraulics Kit and Electronics Kit. PTO Shaft The shaft is available with different spline configurations: 6- or 21- spline. Level sensor Partial Shutdown This item of equipment is located in the hopper. It is used to warn the driver/operator of low hopper levels; the sensor can be adjusted up or down. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Electronics Kit. This item of equipment shuts down the seed rollers on one side. When in operation, seed feed rollers on the left-hand or right-hand side can be shut down. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Electronics Kit. Application Rate Item of equipment for controlling the feed rate when drilling with seed. Auto A machine fitted with Application Rate Auto normally only needs one calibration; the system then adjusts the rate itself. This item of equipment also allows modification of the application rate while in operation. The range of adjustment runs from 50 kg per ha upwards. This system is sold on a trial basis. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Electronics Kit. Tramline-Centre Equipment for tramlining on each pass; its connections disable two seed rollers in the centre at the rear of the machine. When these are disabled, a vehicle track is formed. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with the Electronics Kit. Tramline-Sequence Equipment for tramlining in different sequences; its connections disable one seed roller on the left or one on the right. When one is disabled, a vehicle track is formed. Tramlining requires that the bout markers are properly set and that the direction of driving is counter to the previous pass driven. The system also disables centre coulters on certain sequences (8-metre tramline). This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with Tramline-Centre. Electric Row SpacingEquipment which disables half the seed rollers on the machine. When these are disabled, row spacing is doubled, e.g. if carriers are positioned at 250 mm intervals, row spacing can be changed from 250 mm to 500 mm. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with Tramline-Centre and Tramline-Sequence. If you want to perform row spacing changeover from the operating menu while driving, Application Rate Auto will also be needed.
Seed Coulter/blade, etc. Hose Connection This item of equipment is used together with Hose Connection Coulter. Hose Connection is fitted to the front arm on the carrier. Using this item of equipment, seed coulters can be removed more quickly and seed hoses from the seed feed are provided with an attachment at their outer end which prevents them from hanging loose when the seed coulter is not fitted. Hose Connection This item of equipment is used together with Hose Connection. Coulter Hose Connection Coulter is fitted to the seed hoses from the seeding coulter and is included in the kits Flexibill C or CS. Seed sprinkle plate This item of equipment consists of two parts. The parts are mounted in a hose attachment on the carrier and broadcast seed during ley undersowing, for instance. This item of equipment requires that the machine is fitted with Hose Connectors on the s. Coulter Flexibill C Kit (No. 176344) Flexibill CS Kit (No. 420850) S-TB -Q Holder S-TB Q Blade Coulters come in different types; see the description of the coulters. They are used for sowing, fertiliser, weed harrowing, crust breaking, hoeing, under sowing, harrowing, etc. Seeding coulter with an integrated hoe blade and one seed intake. The hoe blades are quickly detached. The seeding coulter has the possibility to be differently equipped for different types of use, for instance sowing in a row, sowing in a band, hoeing etc. Seeding coulter with an integrated hoe blade and two intakes for two types of seed (Cereals+ small seed). Is meant to work together with a seed module for small seed. Attachment between a and the Goosefoot. Used during hoeing and harrowing with goosefoot cutters. S-TB Q Blade is designed as a goosefoot type of blade. It is available in different widths and can be centered sideways or offset against the holder.
