Troy-Bilt - NEW Walk-Behind Mowers NEW Deck Deck is stamped in a symmetrical circle with a completely curved surface (no flat areas) to create a strong vacuum for grass to circulate freely. Free flowing grass resists clogging, mulches better, and discharges easier. NEW Blade Blade has flatter surfaces to create less turbulence and more even air flow Blade has smooth arc instead of upward angles to lift grass easier Deck extends beyond the wheels on both sides of deck. Short wheel base allows the user to maneuver the mower easier and to lift the front up easier when turning The edges of the deck are folded under the deck to create strength and keep grass in the deck for maximum mulching. The under flange also creates a smooth surface so the user doesn t scratch trees or fences (tree guards) Deck is angled up from the front to the back, so grass is thrown upward as it enters the deck for greater mulching Blade has cutting ability on both the front and back side to mulch grass finer

Troy-Bilt - NEW Walk-Behind Mowers NEW Axles The pass-through axles are independent of the deck, which keeps the wheels straight (no tow). The front axle connects the front wheels together and the rear axle connects the rear wheels together. NEW Bumper The push bumpers have a pass-through gap that allows grass to remain standing upright as it enters the deck for a more even cut. It also makes the mower easier to push (less resistance). The Troy-Bilt bumpers also have a rake to funnel and stand the grass. Straight wheels allow the mower to roll smoothly and more quietly. Wheels last longer when they are aligned and roll evenly. Two pass-through axles only require two height adjustments on the same side of the deck (dual-lever height adjustment). Blade is lower than baffle and cut-out, so grass is cut upright as it passes through the front of the mower 6-position height adjustments with 1.25-3.75 cutting heights.

Troy-Bilt - NEW Walk-Behind Mowers NEW Handles Handle has an indent to provide a space for the bail to fit seamlessly. Adjustable handles have three positions that allow the handle to move up or down by 6-8 inches. NEW Transmission Single-speed transmission is operated by a tippulley, dog clutch, and clutching belt. The pulleys and belt slips evenly as the clutch engages, so the mower does not jump. The mower accelerates from 0-3mph without allowing the user to vary the speed. The handle attaches directly to the deck to give it rigidity and a solid feel. A crossbar is not required, which allows the user easier access to the bagger. The Variable-speed transmission operates in the same manner as the single-speed transmission, but the user has full control of the tip of the pulley with a squeeze grip. The squeeze grip system is sensitive and allows the user to have True Variable Speed from 0-3.5mph.

Troy-Bilt - NEW Walk-Behind Mowers NEW Bag Rectangle-shaped bag with double wall material on the discharge side of the bag, rear, and top for dust-blocking. Symmetrical bagger with opening as big as the bag causes grass to flow and empty evenly. Opening is 25% bigger. Bagger attaches with an intuitive latch design on the outside of the rear door. Rear door securely closes onto bagger to provide a tight seal. NEW Extras Ergonomic wing nuts on the handles and knobs on the height adjusters Deck wash on self-propelled models Premium S-Wave Tread and Golf wheels The absence of the crossbar on the handle makes emptying easy. Size of bag is designed to be pulled through handles when full. Bag is sized appropriately, so it will not be too heavy when filled with wet grass. It can be set on the ground or pulled through the handle. Bagger is designed with a mid-length handle and strap on the bag for easy emptying with two hands.
