MC 75-50, 120-60 and 150-80 The future of milling. The EMCO FAMUP MC series. One of the most advanced vertical milling concepts in the world today. Never before has the machining of milled workpieces been so fast and so precise, with a finished surface of such high quality. The MC machines offer a tremendously wide range of uses and phenomenal power, which makes them highly productive even when machining extremely hard materials. The MC series comes with a choice of four different controls: the FANUC 18i, the HEIDENHAIN 530i, the SELCA 4045 and the SIEMENS 840D. All machines in the MC series are equipped with a steel- A glance into the ball-bearing cage: a patented plastic Integrieirte Palettenwechseleinrichtung ceramic circulation system with recirculating linear ball circulation system prevents the ball bearings from bearings. The MC 75 and the MC 120 are equipped with a drum type magazine with 30 stations and a tool changing arm. The tool change takes only Motor spindle 12000 rpm with 1.5 seconds. On the MC 150-80 the chain magazine has 40 stations. integrated liquid cooling Complete machine housing Solid machine construction. Our MC machines are constructed in Meehanite cast iron, giving us maximum stiffness and vibration absorption. It even deals with the highest cutting forces with ease. The result is top precision and surface quality of all machined parts. Pivoting CNC control panel for safe and non-fatiguing work on the machine Feed screw and guide qualities. The machining centers of the MC series are equipped with a steel-ceramic circulation system with recirculating linear ball bearings. The ball-bearing cage technique is used for the guide ways. This helps us achieve the best possible guidance quality and extra long lubrication intervals (only for MC75 and MC120). Front operation. Thanks to the new machine layout, the MC series has two front doors (one on the MC 75) to allow enough space to access the working area. This simplifies workpiece loading with the traveling crane, as the L-shape of the open doors provides enough space for the lifting cable. Machine structure MC 150-80 Large frontal sliding door for the best ergonomics. MCP 70-50 and 100-50 Change to another dimension. The MCP series from EMCO FAMUP. CNC vertical machining centers with latest generation pallet changing. These machines are comparable to our MC series in quality, performance and precision (see pages 2 and 3). But in productivity the MCP series has enormous advantages to offer. The technology State-of-the-art milling technology. Solid machine construction. Characteristic for the vertical machining centers of the MC-MCP series is a machine structure with a large base and four slideways (two main guides and two lateral support guides) with high loading capacity for static and dynamic loads. This structure guarantees high stability and a perfect linear movement of the Y-axis. At the same time, a maximum of stiffness and precision are guaranteed. The machine stand is constructed using the Finite Element Method. The final assembly department at EMCO FAMUP is equipped with state of the art technology. The new EMCO FAMUP plant in Pordenone, Italy Table saddle Kessler motor spindle. Our machines are equipped with the asynchronized motor spindle from Kessler. The performance data leave no doubt: 12 000 rpm with liquid cooling. Top performance no less than 35 kw with a maximum torque of 120 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 12000 rpm in just 1.2 seconds. Steel-ceramic circulation system with recirculating linear ball bearings. The MC and MCP machining centers have a circulation system with recirculating linear ball bearings as standard equipment. Using steel and ceramic ball bearings alternately reduces the friction between the bearings, thus keeping the operating temperature constant (not for MC 150-80). The high-performance Kessler motor spindle Coolant equipment of the motor spindle. The motor spindle fitted with a coolant equipment that keeps the operating temperature constant regardless of the load. Optional rotary table. To ensure operating continuity an automatic pallet changer with front mounting construction and two changing stations has been conceived. The generous clamping surface of the pallets makes numerous machine setups possible. For example, rotary tables can be mounted on either one or both of the pallets and that even either with a tail stock or without one. Long-life slideways. Innovative guide ways with ball cage technology are used in the EMCO FAMUP machining centers. A patented plastic circulation system prevents the ball bearings from colliding and extends lubrication intervals by forming natural lubricant reservoirs (not for MC 150-80). Rigid structure. An innovative machine design lends the MC and MCP series an extremely stiff structure. The most critical part of vertical machining centers for their precision and performance is the machine stand. The MC and MCP models are therefore developed using the Finite Element Method (FEM). In a load simulation, the parts of the machine's structure that are under particular stress are found. Where greater loads are concentrated, the material thickness is increased or the internal rib structure of the machine substructure optimized. This prevents wear on the materials and ensures a greater resistance to vibration. The result: much greater stability of the gray cast iron construction while also reducing its weight. Pallet on X carriage Pallet clamping Laterally mounted cooling unit for the motor spindle MCP 70-50, mechanical pallet clamp 22000 N via cam clamp Roller bearing cage guides lengthen lubrication intervals and ensure a longer working lifetime. The machines of the MC and MCP series are characterized by their extremely solid machine construction. MCP 100-50, mechanical pallet clamp 34 000 N via cam clamp 356 467
