INPUT SIGNAL () ENGINE COOLANT TEMP. SIGNAL SYSTEM THE ENGINE COOLANT TEMP. SENSOR DETECTS THE ENGINE COOLANT TEMP. AND HAS A UILT-IN THERMISTOR ITH A RESISTANCE HICH ARIES ACCORDING TO THE ATER TEMP. THUS THE ATER TEMP. IS INPUT IN THE ORM O A CONTROL SIGNAL TO TERMINAL TH O THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. () HEATED OYGEN SENSOR SIGNAL SYSTEM THE OYGEN DENSITY IN THE EHAUST EMISSIONS IS DETECTED AND INPUT AS A CONTROL SIGNAL TO TERMINAL O OR O O THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. ASED ON THIS DATA AND THE PROGRAM MEMORIZED IN THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE, THE MOST APPROPRIATE UEL INJECTION TIMING IS DECIDED AND CURRENT IS OUTPUT TO TERMINALS #0, #0, #0, #40, #0 AND #60 O THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE, CAUSING THE INJECTORS TO OPERATE (TO INJECT UEL). IT IS THIS SYSTEM HICH, THROUGH THE ORK O THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE, INELY CONTROLS UEL INJECTION IN RESPONSE TO DRIING CONDITIONS. * ELECTRONIC SPARK ADANCE SYSTEM THE ELECTRONIC SPARK ADANCE SYSTEM MONITORS THE ENGINE CONDITIONS USING THE SIGNALS (INPUT SIGNALS (,, 4 TO 6,, 0, I)) INPUT TO THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE ROM EACH SENSOR. THIS OUTPUT CONTROLS THE IGNITER TO PRODUCE THE MOST APPROPRIATE IGNITION TIMING OR THE DRIING CONDITONS. * HEATED OYGEN SENSOR HEATER CONTROL SYSTEM THE HEATED OYGEN SENSOR HEATER CONTROL SYSTEM TURNS THE HEATER TO ON HEN THE INTAKE AIR OLUME IS LO (TEMP. O EHAUST EMISSIONS LO), AND ARMS UP THE HEATED OYGEN SENSOR TO IMPROE DETECTION PERORMANCE O THE SENSOR. THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE EALUATES THE SIGNALS ROM EACH SENSOR (INPUT SIGNALS (,, 7,, 0)). CURRENT IS OUTPUT TO TERMINAL HT OR HT AND CONTROLS THE HEATER..
