[ACT 023] Manual E 6/6/05 7:02 PM Page 6 USER INSTRUCTION TO FILL Fill air tank only at a service station or use a low pressure air compressor (0 100 psi). Press air compressor chuck against the intake valve until the tank is filled. Fill air tank pressure to between 75 and 125 psi only. Pressure gauge indicates the level of air pressure inside the tank. Do not overfill. Tank pressure must not exceed 125 psi. TO USE To open, turn the red intake valve control wheel counterclockwise to allow air to flow from the tank through hose. Press the chuck onto tire s valve stem. To close, turn the intake valve control wheel clockwise to stop air from flowing through the hose. TO RELEASE PRESSURE: Pull on the pull ring attached to the automatic bypass valve. When the tank is empty, the pressure gauge will register zero. TO CONTROL AIR FLOW Open CAUTION Close Release pressure Do not overfill.tank pressure must not exceed 125 psi. The built-in pressure gauge will provide an estimated reading only. The built-in pressure gauge cannot use to measure tire pressure. Keep out of reach of children. 3

Dispose of the tank on or before expiry date stamped on footrest. Using the tank after the disposal date may result in the cylinder bursting and causing serious personal injury. Dispose of the tank in accordance with the federal and provincial regulations. * Performance may vary depending on the tire size, valve and operating conditions. TO STORE Turn the intake valve control wheel clockwise to stop air from flowing through the hose. Store indoors in a clean and dry area. MAINTENANCE To prevent tank from rusting, store in clean and dry area. If minor rust appears, sand the tank with a steel wool or sandpaper and repaint it. If left unused for extended periods of time, the tank pressure may need to be brought up. 3. Refill the tank when the air pressure is low. 4. To prevent the tank from rusting, store in clean and dry area. 5. Do not expose to moisture or heat. 6. If minor rust appears, sand the tank with a steel wool or sandpaper and repaint it. In case of severe rust, dispose of tank. 7. Release all pressure from the tank before removing or replacing fittings. 8. Do not use the tank for medical purpose. 9. Do not use the tank as a portable breathing device. 10. Do not use the tank if it is defective, return it to replace of purchase if still under warranty. If no longer under warranty, dispose of tank following the guidelines below. 11. Warning: Do not fill air tank from compressed air cylinder charged with more than 125 psi. Air tank pressure must not exceed 125 psi. Overfilling could burst cylinder and result in serious personal injury. Failure to read and follow instructions may result in personal injury and, or property damage. 5

This Limited Warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of parts which prove defective under normal use and service and which on examination shall indicate, to Active Product s satisfaction, they are defective. Active Products reserves the right to request the return of defective parts. Shipping charges may apply. Before returning any parts, contact the toll-free hotline 1-866-9AIRMAN (924-7626). If Active Products confirms the defect and approves the claim, Active Products will elect to replace such parts without charge. The foregoing warranty does not apply to defects resulting from faulty installation, operation, disassembly, alterations or remodeling, or misuse, misapplication, neglect, abuse, accident, tornado, hurricane, and earthquake; or lack of proper maintenance, cleaning and care. Warranty will not apply if this product is used for commercial or rental purposes. This warranty shall not extend to anyone other than the original purchaser of this product.
