AWARDS SUSTAINABILITY 2016 ASRA 1 ST PLACE For the third time in a row PALFINGER won the ASRA (Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award) in the category of "Integrated Business and Sustainability Report". 2016 APRA AWARD PALFINGER's integrated annual report 2015 was awarded with the APRA Austrian Public Reporting Award and reached the 3rd place in the overall assessment of companies listed on the Austrian stock exchange. For the assessment, the reports underwent a basic analysis covering completeness and informative value. In the second round the reports were put to test by experts of financial analysis and investment, shareholder protection, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, infographic and content, arrangement and design. 2016 GREEN BRAND AUSTRIA 2016/2017 PALFINGER underwent the re-evaluation process of GREEN BRANDS in the beginning of this year and is now granted the right to bear the Green Brand Austria 2016/2017 seal. 2015 VÖNIX ALL TIME INDEX MEMBER 2005-2015 Since 2005, PALFINGER is part of the VÖNIX (VBV Austrian Sustainability Index). This year we received the VÖNIX All Time Index Member 2005-2015 certificate. 2015 SALZBURGER WIRTSCHAFTSPREIS The PALFINGER AG received the "Salzburger Wirtschaftspreis 2014" (Salzburg business prize) under the category "corporate responsibility". In this way PALFINGER was honored for its sustainable, corporate success and outstanding performance of the previous year. 2015 ASRA 1 ST PLACE Once again PALFINGER won first place in the category "Integrated Reports" at the Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award (ASRA). 2014 SALZBURGER WIRTSCHAFTSPREIS The PALFINGER AG received the "Salzburger Wirtschaftspreis 2014" (Salzburg business prize) under the category "company of the year". 2014 GREEN BRAND AUSTRIA 2014/2015 PALFINGER underwent the three stage GREEN BRANDS organization validation process in the spring of 2014 and took great pleasure at being the first Austrian industrial enterprise to receive this special label. 2014 ENERGY GLOBE AWARD PALFINGER was nominated with the PALFINGER Hybrid for the highly esteemed environmental energy globe award in the category fire. 2012 ASRA 1 ST PLACE The 13th lending of the ASRA - Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award, the price for the best sustainability reports of Austrian enterprises, took place on the 20th of November in Vienna. 10 Austrian enterprises were distinguished this year for a well-balanced and adequate annual reporting with the ASRA Award by the chamber of the economic trustees. PALFINGER reached in the category Large-scale enterprise the 1st place. 2012 ÖKOVISION SUSTAINABILITY LEADERSHIP AWARD PALFINGER AG received on 18. September 2012 the Sustainability Leadership Award conferred by the independent ÖKOVISION investment committee. The committee acts as consultant to the investment company ÖKOWORLD, a subsidiary of versiko AG, which has been a listed company since 1999. Page 3 5
2010 KLIMA:AKTIV AWARD klima:aktiv is an initiative of Austrian s Ministry of Life (Federal Ministry of agriculture, forestry, environment and water management) for advocate climate protection and is part of the Austrian climate strategy. PALFINGER got the Auszeichnung für Kompetenz im Klimaschutz (certificate for competence in climate protection) for its project Umrüstung von 10 Dieselstaplern auf CNG-Betrieb (conversion of 10 diesel fuel fork lifts to CNG-mode) on its site in Lengau (Austria). This change from diesel fuel to natural gas and a new concept of routes for the fork lifts save 16% of the daily drive and reduce the diesel fuel consumption by 30%. Together it makes a reduction of 23 tonnes CO2 a year. 2010 ASRA 1 ST PLACE The 11th lending of the ASRA - Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award, the price of the best sustainibility reports of Austrian enterprises, took place on the 24th of November in Vienna. All together 37 reports were submitted. 19 Austrian enterprises were distinguished this year for a wellbalanced and adequate annual reporting with the ASRA Award by the chamber of the economic trustees. PALFINGER reached in the category Large-scale enterprise the 1st place. 2008 ASRA - 1 ST PLACE The Sustainability Award ASRA (Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award) is awarded annually in recognition of the best environmental or sustainability report by an Austrian company. Once again this year the best sustainability reports of the 2007 business year were honoured jointly by the Austrian Chamber of Chartered Accountants with cooperation partners on 12 November 2008. PALFINGER s sustainability report impressed the jury to such an extent that it was awarded first prize, leaving behind top dogs such as Verbund and the Wiener Stadtwerke. Page 4 5
2006 ASRA 3 RD PLACE With its Sustainability Report 2005 PALFINGER was able to achieve 3rd place at the Austrian Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA) 2006. The sustainability prize from the "Kammer der Wirtschaftstreuhänder ASRA" is an annual award handed to the best environment and sustainability reports of Austrian companies.
