The main cleaning function is executed via high pressure water nozzles (40-200 bar) and a special cleaning brush. The unit is tight sealed against the drum. Water and all residues are guided into the waste pan and from there into drainage squeegees which dry the belt. No water spillage around the process area. 4
Vacuum Unit Drive Fleece Stretch Roller Gear Box Brake Solvent Injection Unit Fleece Unit Belt Cleaning Unit In-Feed The belt cleaning unit in-feed consists of the following main components: Fleece unit with solvent injection Vacuum unit or airknife Fleece stretch roller Function: The dry belt at the in-feed side heads into the fleece unit. The fleece is injected with solvent and squeezed by the stretch roller against the belt. The tension of the fleece can be brake-adjusted. Water or other contaminants are dissolved by the solvent and is removed immediately. Finally a vacuum unit cleans the belt from micro particles. 5

A high pressure water jet head moves across the width of the belt and removes bigger parts. The next unit is a brush module with spray nozzles (up to 200 bar) where contaminants are removed mechanically. The last module is a vacuum or airknife module, which dries or cleans the belt from micro particles. Counter rollers eliminate vibrations and noise on the belt.
