Suitable for fixed installation of the MultiCharger unit (e.g. for wall bracket), the cable-reel system is permanently installed and the charging cables are only run out when required so they are always properly stowed. Wall bracket. The special wall bracket allows the MultiCharger to be installed safely and compactly. The unit is secured directly into the wall bracket. The cables can be stowed neatly and ready-to-hand. Trolley. The trolley offers a flexible and highly practical storage facility for the MultiCharger unit. The power supply and charging cables are arranged at the sides so they are ready-to-hand at all times. Entirely processorcontrolled, the charging function is started directly according to the automatic voltage recognition system (passenger/commercial vehicle). The external power supply function facilitates buffering or supplementing of the onboard electrical system with or without a battery. All parameters can be readily adjusted using a self explanatory dialog on a large, illuminated LCD screen and a water-tight keypad. The onboard electrical and electronic systems are safeguarded throughout by integrated functions such as over-current, short-circuit, polarity and high/low voltage protection. MultiCharger accessories As standard the MultiCharger is supplied including 5 m charging cables and straight crocodile clamps. You may choose between round or twin cables. Special cables with angle crocodile clamps, small crocodile clamps and alternative cable lengths are optionally available. Charging cables with angle crocodile clamps. With the new angle crocodile clamps the vehicle s charging points or, for direct charging, the battery terminals are much more readily accessible. Charging cables with small crocodile clamps. Charging cables with smaller crocodile clamps are available when using the MultiCharger unit for motorcycles or special-purpose vehicle battery connections. Charging cables with angle crocodile clamps and ribbon conductors. These extremely low-profile charging cables were developed for using the MultiCharger unit in vehicle presentations at exhibitions and in sales showrooms. The battery charging unit can be placed underneath the vehicle and the ribbon cables run into the vehicle. With this system, even when the engine compartment is closed, optimal battery charging or sufficient power supply can be guaranteed for the electrical equipment being demonstrated in the vehicle s interior. The ribbon conductors are connected to the round charging cables by means of a special plug connector. This plug connector also serves as an emergency disconnection device if the vehicle is moved inadvertently, without needing to remove the angle crocodile clamps from the charging points.
