Hafner-Pneumatik is the manufacturer of a complete range of high-quality valves for industrial automation purposes.
What started in 1991 in a small work-shop with the 4 founders is today a company operating in a self-owned 1.500 m² facility with about 40 people. 1991 Foundation of the Hafner Pneumatika Kft. in Mosonmagyaróvár. 1992 Co-operation with the German distributor JOYNER pneumatics GmbH. Manufacturing of the former Knorr valves and of a modern pneumatic valve program. 1998 The company moves to a new manufacturing facility in Halászi. Hafner Pneumatika starts sales in Hungary. First exhibition on the Industria trade show in Budapest. 1999 Foundation of the Hafner-Pneumatik Krämer KG in Stuttgart, managed by Mr. Hafner s daughter and Andreas Krämer, her husband. The internationalisation of the company begins. 2001 The new valve series MD 16 is introduced, enlargement of the manufacturing facility in Halászi. 2002 Hafner-Pneumatik Krämer KG moves to a larger facility in Kornwestheim to better serve the by now about 10 international distribution partners. 2003 Hafner-Pneumatik presents the products for the first time on the Hannover Messe. 2005 Opening of the enlarged manufacturing facility in Halászi doubling manufacturing surface. Introduction of new products such as valve-terminals and ATEX-approved components for explosion hazardous environment. 2006 First time exhibition on the ACHEMA in Frankfurt 2009 10 year Hafner Pneumatik as a brand 2010 Introducing Hafner on the Rocks & Hafner Heavy Metal.
Developing Hafner Pneumatik into an international brand was the major target 11 years ago. 1999: Hungary Germany 2000: The Netherlands 2001: Romania Slovenia France Poland 2002: CZ 2003: Spain Israel Taiwan Thailand Turkey Pakistan 2004: Sweden UK 2006: China South Africa (Mexico) Moldova Greece 2007: Finland India 2008: Venezuela Egypt 2009: Morocco Ukraine 2010: Saudi Arabia Denmark VAR Norway Russia Italy Ivory Coast Australia Malaysia
Numerous advantages make our valve-range very competitive: Competitive advantage 1 Patented swimming O-Ring Entirely Polyamide covered MA22 coil, MA 16 is filled with Epoxi 11 special advantages of the Hafner Namur valve series 701 Metallic sealing in our lever actuated valves Hafner offers a wide standard range, but our ears are always open for customerspecific solutions.
Our patented sealing system with the swimming O-ring offers distinct advantages to its users. Competitive advantage 2 By using high quality materials and an approved sealing system, we offer distinct advantages to our customers. No compromises were made in the selection of materials. The bodies are made from anodised aluminium, the spools from stainless steel and the manual overrides from brass. The major advantage of HAFNER's sealing concept is the low friction. This advantage is based on the following technical features: There is no deformation of the seal during assemblage of the valve - they are allowed to move independently within the brass cage. Without air pressure there is no contact pressure and, therefore, no friction. This construction also has consequences for the seals of the valves in use. When switching a 5/2 valve, only three of the five seals are exposed to pressure and applying friction to the spool. This unique sealing design means that the contact pressure, and consequently the sealing effect, increases proportionally to the air pressure. If the air pressure is low, contact pressure of the seals and friction are minimised. Even when pressure is high, due to the shape of the cage, there is only the minimal contact pressure applied to the sealing rings which is necessary to seal the valve, as shown in the drawing above. The design of the seals offers distinct advantages: + High durability and extended lifetime! + High flow combined with compact design! + High reliability of the valves!
While all our competitors sell 22mm coils with an open yoke at the bottom, Hafner seals the solenoid valves between coil and the body Competitive advantage 3 Even so, this might sound like a trivial detail, this feature offers a significant Protected yoke of Hafner's MA 22-coils Open yoke at coils of competitors Competitive Advantage for any product used Seal at PA-head Seal at Aluminium-head in wet or humid environment.
Besides maximum flow of 1.250 l/min in a compact design there are 11 more competitive advantages of the Hafner valves series 701. Competitive advantage 4 Nut with sealing effect to keep moisture away. End-cap made from brass (stainless steel on request). O-ring-seal between coil and valve-head to keep moisture out. Please refer to page 3. Patented sealing system with the swimming O-ring. Please refer to page 2. Fixing screws and accessories in stainless steel. Body material: Anodised aluminium Fibre-enforced PA-head, aluminium-version on request. Manual override to turn in brass, version to push in brass or in stainless steel available on request (only in combination with alu-head). Operator made from brass and steel, full stainless steel version on request. Spool in stainless steel, other inner-parts made from brass, NBR, POM, brass-free version on request. Fully encapsulated thermoplastic coil, 360 rotation. Standard power consumption 3 Watt, 5 VA, 6 voltages. Solenoid system with 2 Watt (only 24DC) on request. Thermoset resin coils and EEx-solenoid systems class m and ia available on request.
While other companies put a not long-lasting gaiter onto their lever-valves we seal them by using a metallic seal. Competitive advantage 5
