Extremely silent! POWER: 11-15 kw (15-20 HP) MAX. PRESSURE: 8-10-13 bar 65-67 db(a) Gearless direct drive transmission The drive between the air-end and electric motor is carried out by means of gearless direct connection. Power transmission without loss can reach an advantage up to 4% in front of a normal belt driven compressor,thanks to the special motor with tubular crankcase and no frontal bearing: this connection doesn t need flexible coupling for compressor maximum reliability and efficiency and no drive maintenance. Compact, quiet and modular The Fini K-MAX series, from 11 to 15 kw (15 to 20 HP) is available in a variety of configurations to suit the exact requirements of the customer: starting with the standard floor mounted version, the range can also be selected with a 500 litre air receiver, with or without refrigerated dryer, also available with inverter drive. K-MAX Direct driven silenced rotary screw compressors Main components ETIV electronic controller Controller with multi-function backlight LCD graphic display, the menu is drop down type. In the main screen are displayed: - Working pressure (offload and load pressure); - Temperature; - Compressor status (stand-by, offload, load); - Fan status (off or on); - Date and time; - Hours remaining to maintenance; - Percentage inverter use. Master/slave function: It is possible to connect up to 4 compressors for managing distribution of the workload in such a way to equalize the hours dynamically changing set of pressures of the various compressors. Expansion cards future optional: USB module: USB communication client. Can module: CAN-bus communication. GSM module: GSM module for remote assistance. Bluetooth module (connection with PC, Smartphone, tablet, etc.... connection between neighbor compressors). RotEnergyPlus As well as all Fini rotary screw compressors, also K-MAX models are ready to use and equipped with RotEnergyPlus cooling lubricant to synthetic base. RotEnergyPlus separates quickly from water, reduces friction and energy consumption, extends maintenance intervals and guarantees excellent bearing lubrication, providing great protection against rust and corrosion. 11-15 kw Cooling system A centrifugal fan grants the optimal cooling air flow through an oversized heat combined exchanger. The fan operation is controlled by a thermostat that put in compression the compressor cabinet, reducing the noise level and increasing performances. Due to the higher pressure it can be also possible to recover the heat from the combined cooler with a duct, without using a fan extractor. Oil and oil-separator filters Oil and oil-separator filters are SPIN-ON type and are easy accessible from front panel of the compressor, as all other components subject to periodic maintenance. Oil piping is made of rubber hoses with steel mesh cover, to grant maximum oil resistance at high temperatures. Built-in dryer The K-MAX range is available with customized dryer, including automatic condensate drain; the dryer is also available as kit and help you to save space and time for assembling. Easy handling and maintenance All tanks are equipped with anti-tip brackets for safe handling with transpallet. The air storage tanks have drain cock in a easily accessible position and are equipped with ball valve. Cooling air filtering panel The intake and cooling air is filtered by a panel located on the left side of the machine, to ensure higher cleaning and easy maintenance, improving more than 15% the intake filter life. Control of the working pressure with transducer It guarantees an accurate and stable operation during the time. The transducer allows direct modification of the working pressure from the electronic controller without any mechanical intervention. 5
K-MAX Direct driven rotary screw compressors STC version: with inverter drive Energy efficiency All Fini K-MAX models can be also available at variable speed, equipped with Inverter option (STC = SpeedTronicControl), that enables the compressor to adapt to the flow rate demanded by the application. The electronic controller monitors and controls air-end speed, modulating the air production in order to keep constant pressure in the network. They are particularly suitable for those companies that use compressed air with frequently changing flow: the variable frequency drive allows the machine to adjust the flow rate to the actual demand. Andamento pressione Pressure trend Immediate advantages of this feature are the constant network pressure, the optimized electric power consumption, matching the real compressed air demand, and the minimum wear of the mechanical components, which are usually stressed during the idling/load switching of the standard compressors.
