Trautz in collaboration with GT balloon rides, Georg Fröhlich and Tom Steflitsch, Pforzheim Sylvia Meinl (head of management), Mike Meinl, Klaus Hartmann Conditions to take part in the 11 th International GermanCup 2017: Hot-air ballons and special types: Participation nominal money: 430,- Euro (special types are free) The following achievements are included in the nominal money for a crew from up to four people: Up to two double rooms including breakfast in a hotel of the middle class for three nights Welcome evening for the crews (Thursday) Competition catering for all days (lunch, vouchers for dinner in the evening) Official brunch for the team in the CongressCentrum Pforzheim before winner s honor (Sunday) Free gas for everybody after every competition or passenger s flight (first launch with full bottles) Up to four official participant waistcoats Pilot and crew package Maps of the competition area (no ICAO maps) We offer as well: Five competitive flight and evaluation flights around the Grand Prix of the main sponsor dm-markt with winner s honor and attractive prices Mediation of passengers against payment of 100,- Euro per passenger exclusively to commercially pursued balloons for the whole period Meteorological weather forecast and consultation by Mr. Jan Wendel, meteorologist of the institute for technology Karlsruhe (KIT)

Conditions of participation: Every non-commercial balloon team makes available to the organizer one guest place per flight for an assistant, media, VIP, sponsors et cetera. The commercial balloons have to make available passenger places with 100,- Euros taken from the passengers stock exchange. The number of passengers depends on the balloon size and is equally distributed to the commercial balloons. Every commercial balloon has to take at least one passenger from the organizer per flight. The passengers stock exchange is coordinated between the organizers (partners and handling: GT Ballonfahrten). Rides for own passengers against payment is only possible in previous arrangement. Because of some sponsor s contracts balloon covers of banks, chemist s shop markets (for example Rossmann, Müller et cetera) brand of cars (excepted VW, Porsche, AUDI, Skoda), energy enterprises, other markets (for example Kaufland, Marktkauf et cetera) have to be avoided. In particular cases however we will do our best for a possible participation. Balloon Dimension restriction to 150.000 cu ft (bigger volume only in arrangement with the organizer). The following documents have to be presented at the check-in or have to be send before by email (scans): Airworthiness certificate Registration certificate ARC Insurance certificate Pilot At least 100 hours as PIC, identity card, valid pilot s license and Medical have to be presented by the check-in or have to be send before by email (scans). Pilots from countries without SEPA acceptance have to pay the nominal fee in cash directly on site. Model balloons Participation without nominal money Free gas supply Valid liability insurance (documents will be checked at the check-in) Maximum number of participants for the event 20 model balloons Overnight stays after arrangement Catering

Event The event is not a ranking list competition, nevertheless the competition is driven to an official set of rules. The winner of the competition receives the Grand Prix der dm-märkte, the main sponsor of the event (trophy from the world-famous Majolika Karlsruhe designed by the Goldstadt Pforzheim ) The places 1-3 will receive monetary or material prices. All pilots take part in the planned races and are also evaluated or grasped according to point (the special forms are released from taking part in the races): Commercial balloons become listed on account of the passengers (paying passengers from a prospective customer s pool) at the end of the event only out of competition. Winner is the participant with the highest score after five start periods (evaluation: place system) The lot decides by equal point level. On Sunday evening the traditional Key-Grab competition of the Pforzheimer Zeitung still takes place. That means a separate competition with a separate price (winner: 1.000,- Euro, 2 nd place 500,- Euro, 3 rd place 250,- Euro). The crews receive against a security fee of 50 Euros (returning at the end of the event) in each case a logger as well as markers to document the competitive achievements. Program and questions The maximum number of balloons taking part is limited to 50. The complete program of the event is added at the end. The registration is only valid with the payment entrance of the nominal money on the given account. For the registration we need the following documents and information: Photos of the pilot and the balloon for presentation on the web, for media, news et cetera. If possible a short description about special balloon festival participations, special balloon rides, Grand Prix Participations at the GermansCup or EuropeanCup in Pforzheim since 1986 Information about participation at the Night-Glow on Friday or Saturday or

participation at both days Information about participation at the Key-Grab (Sunday afternoon) Deadline for registration: 20 th of June 2017 We reserve ourselves changes of advertising and registration. Changes will be send by email to the announced pilots. Code of conduct We assume the code with all participants. We count moreover the code of conduct for free balloon leaders, the security code for hot-air balloons, the street code of compressed gas bottles, and the code of honor, that obliges all participants to sporty fairness, comradeship and thoughtfulness for person, animal and environment.
