Geared to Classic Reason. Facts, Data and Measurements. Budget TM, the traction driven standard passenger elevator without machine room, has been designed for more powerful but also economical passenger service for residential buildings and smaller commercial buildings. It is equipped with our decentralized control system as well as all elevators in our Evolution series. The TW 45 B, a frequencycontrolled, geared drive, moves standardized elevator cars with rated loads of 630 or 1000 kg resp. 675 or 1050 kg with open through at a speed of 1.0 m/s. The elevator installation is equipped with our efficient and proven two-panel side opening sliding doors (M2T). However there can also twopanel central opening sliding doors (M2Z) be used. The doors are 900 mm in width, the central opening doors are available in widths of 800 or 900 mm. To complete the range, finally you can select between the installation of the landing doors on the landing in a recess or entirely in the shaft. All the door and car dimensions demanded of EN 81-70 Accessibility to lifts for persons including persons with disability are met. The following tables with shaft dimensions and the drawings are according to EN 81 and refer to minimum dimensions and a left-hand elevator design! Larger dimensions are possible with the expection of the shaft depht for open through and the recesses for the doors, possibly causing higher costs for e. g. additional shackles, and/or other larger minimum dimensions. For example, a larger space between shaft walls and elevator car can make a higher railing on the elevator car necessary, which in turn requires a higher shaft head. Of course an elevator in right-hand design, i. e. with counterweight and operating box on the right-hand side are also possible. The following shaft ground plans and vertical sections show the door openings with gaps between the wall soffit or lintel and door frame which can be filled by means of concreting or plastering and thus easily be made to fit the wall plastering of the building. However, you can also use wall frames in the case of altered dimensions. You will find more details in our project planning document "Door openings". Rising to the Top. Vertical Section. The drawing to the right shows a possible vertical section in left-hand elevator design without open through and with doors in M2T design. The stated dimensions for the shaft head height applies to the distance between elevator car and shaft wall (WA) 850 mm! Larger distances between shaft wall and elevator car require a higher railing on the elevator car, which in turn makes the shaft head 400 mm higher. 5
